The Trifect is a collaborative group that makes self-produced video productions in a semi-animated podcast-esque series of episodes that employs immersive storytelling techniques, making it akin to an audio drama. Informally called a "not-cast", The Trifect Show separates what distinction it has to a podcast by avoiding labeling it as such. Computer-assisted technology is used in each episode to improve the production quality, making the visual-aid a compelling element to engage with not only your ears present, but eyes, too.
It kindles a community-driven experience for its audience participation, tackling a diverse array of topics through the intersubjectivity of the 3 hosts. From the fundamentals of animation to the intricate nature of personal identity and the exploration of the mind's latent desires. The Trifect Show also co-stars honorary guests and special appearances; adding to the discussion and what their unique perspectives may entail.
2024 summer and I watched the show all the summer till the last episode… i have flight tomorrow and im sad bcuz im gonna miss my family but hey ! Im not the only one here travelling abroad
im just now watching this show after always hearing about it as a kid and dang i can see why it was renowned. Really kicked the modern day theorizing community off
It's 2024, I'm turning 28 in 2 weeks and I just rewatched this for the idk how many time. One thing I do know is my pillow is SOAKED with tears. Ugh that line "ready to head into the unknown? Nope, let's do it" gets me like a knife to the heart. I hope if we do come back one summer it's during my life time
I will say whilst I understand the initial point of why this should still be catered towards children, I don't think adult shows are necessarily just lust or adult jokes, moreso covers certain topics in a more mature way
@@ifyouknowyouknow4753 Let myself be clear, I don't take issue if there ends up being an adult spin-off unrelated to the show but taking place in the same universe. It just shouldn't include the "Gravity Falls" brand in its marketing
@@TrifectShow eh idk, I think as long as it's done for expansive purposes for the story and character I don't think it necessarily matters, obv unnecessary stuff, fair enough it probs shouldn't be the case, but I think for a story that's about nothing lasting forever, I think tryina keep the marketing for this as strictly children is very limiting
@@TrifectShow I think it's really just dependent on how more adult themes are dealt with, and also if there is a season 3, the ages of Dipper and Mabel are the key thing, I think if it's like later teens, then obv not be super explicit in adult themes, but I'd say defo explore more mature topics
@@ifyouknowyouknow4753 I have no problem with mature themes in a children show, but there is such thing as crossing the line. Adventure Time already did this, and I disagree with the decision. This is a trend I don't see disappearing. Children and adult entertainment will be blurred more and more until they appear the same. My way of looking at it is, you have to make your show adult first, you can't slowly transition it to adult. Make something brand new not resting on your laurels on what you know works. Adventure Time became sorta more for teens later on, but Gravity Falls was for a general audience always.
@@TrifectShow fair on the line, tho I will say, I think honestly it developing to more adult and mature stuff especially in how gravity falls works is honestly fine and kinda cool, obv with pacing in mind, and tbh I don't necessarily find it disrespectful towards upcoming and old fans, since almost everything atm that's come out has been for everyone, so it's not like gravity falls would be tainted, and for old fans, they can connect more with the characters and mature themes, which honestly I think is what the creator aims to bring to the table in good quality
