I'll be doing some reviews of gear, as well as parts to the most common sublimation actuated mass accelerator in the U.S. Find me on Rumble at rumble.com/c/c-2488414 All videos are posted on both sites.
I started out with ASC 10 round mags and the feed lips spread , so I purchased a couple of 10 round duramags , I’ve had zero issues, as expensive as Grendel is I don’t need 30 round mags .
I had the same problem with my haus upper. Send it back to haus and Jess will fix it. He did mine free of charge and turn around was less than a week and my brownells BCG fit perfectly. There were a small batch of these uppers that were out of spec but Jess over at haus will take care of you he’s an outstanding guy
Not for a second you you little simulator aces have the slightest idea.... What you just saw exceeded "G-limits".. The absolute truth of the matter is simple.. The human body is the weakest link.. What you just saw absolutely exceeded 10.5 g's coming into the "slide".. Go ahead and ride a longer version of that and tell me what you see! Humans still inside capable airplanes is one generation away from being extinct.. Seriously, I'd rather fly ANY DAY / NIGHT with computers at the controls... I mean, they already are.... We can't think or react nearly as fast.. Show me a human who can fly a F-117 or B -2 manually... LOL.. Yeah, right!
The Alexander Arms Israeli magazine is the only one i have been able to use successfully I don’t know what the issue is with this kind of ammo but i bought 5 different types of magazines for my gun and this one mag is the only one that works right
"Peacetime".. That is funny, but somewhat applicable... This airframe / plane can likely surpass 14g continuous, depending on fuel flow, pressure.. The limiting factor is simply the HUMAN inside.. I really hate to say it.. Dogfighting is LONG dead... There IS a reason for the F-35, though I truly hate the F-22 got shunted aside.. You might as well become an officer of programming for whatever branch you want.. There will be NO humans inside a combat aircraft in far less than the next 50 years.. I'm saying 12 - 24...
@@rrvillareal2011 They literally only made one of them as a technology demonstrator you're thinking of the SU-35. Also what does better mean in the context of turn radius?
I had issues with ASC mags as well. I had inconsistent accuracy and dicovered the rounds sometimes pitch upward. Enough so, that either three bottom of the bcg would damage the bullet tip.
The rim isn't catching. The case mouth is the problem. It's also the cause of nosediving. Dremel about two millimeters of the metal down on the front of the magazine and it'll fix it. Did it with my E-Lander mags and fixed my feeding issues.
@@HammerheadClassCruiser I am looking for the best 6.5 grendel mags that will feed, I have a 27rd elander that you can only get 20rds in barely? why do they call it a 27rd when you can only get 20 in?
I am kicking myself for not buying this when it was available. I'm fortunate to have their CPC, but what I really really wanted was the cage armor chassis. *sigh*.... Guess I'll spend a billion dollars on ebay now...
I don't have anything precise enough to give a good measurement. I happened to have a triangular file that was slightly smaller than the width of the upper tab.
Was this one of mine lol. I've owned more than I can count of these (S,M & Large -M-cam, Coyote & RG) since 2010, still love the comfort even for the cost of a little extra weight. Medium total weight sans plates is 8lbs. This is the Gen 2, the gen one was intended to be issued to Big ARMY for one of the future soldier programs but that was a pipe dream. It was a very interesting concept none the less. They were mainly aimed towards SOCOM, Breaches, SWAT & Stationary gunners etc. I wasn't surprised to see them drop of the site after such a long life on the market for a specialty carrier. The shoulder Pads also have built in IIIA soft armor, not just the harness. It also has a plastic frame sheet to maintain rigidity of the harness. The low or high back ballistic Blast Belt also adds to the entire setup. They also offered groin & shoulder protection add on's + others. I still have a couple of them on hand but the AVS finally won me over, for now... Good vid none the less, if anyone needs help with one just ask.
No, that's news to me; I'll have to do some research. I have a BRN-4 lower, but it's being used on another build. And Haus told me that they're looking into working with black ops defense to make A5 variant lowers (I think blackopsdefense made the A5 uppers for Haus)
Unobtainium lol I am having a huge problem trying to get a ral8000 port door that's a great looking setup so far can't wait to see the finished result!!!!
Most likely I'll be getting one of the ones Brownells sells and then grinding the barrel extension to fit. Haus sells A5 variants produced by Nefarious, but I want a 16" one for my G95A1 clone.
@@HammerheadClassCruiser I was thinking of doing the same thing. I just saw that Haus is taking preorders for a5 barrels though. Also I asked Black Ops Defense if they could convert a brownells barrel extension to a5 spec and they said they can. Black Ops Defense is super expensive though
@HammerheadClassCruiser on the haus website for his barrels. The only thing it says about nefarious arms is that nefarious arms gas block works with the haus a5 barrel.
Hey brother, any updates on this? Did it end up being an out of spec upper or bcg? Edit: Read your vid desc further down. Glad to hear it worked out for you
I didn't bother to ask either Brownells or Haus Manufacturing since milling down the skis fixed the issue. If I had to guess though I'd say this was caused by the shot-peening process bending the thin section below the ejection port inward.
@@HammerheadClassCruiser Right on. I was told by Beth at nefarious arms that the fitment should be tight but operable so I'll keep my fingers crossed when Brownells' bcg comes in
@@DRF5566 finished my build a while ago and I didn't need to make any modifications on my end. Fitment was tight but worked just fine for the haus upper and Brownells 416 bcg
They aren't inserted since there are no side pockets. The vest's structural part is sealed except for where the front flaps come out. In order to mount plates you have to attach side plate bags.
Thanks for the heads up on the websites, UHARM makes a a IIIa high belt that I'm looking at, wish Crye still made this belt!! I kick myself for not getting one a few years ago!
