It surprised me how much better busy images (like the 50s puzzle) get on 1000 pieces compared to 500 pieces. I guess they miss one key difficulty: a large block of the same color. The flamingos look much more simple at first glance, but they have a lot of the same texture and color going on. On 500 pieces, I would guess there would be almost no difference between them, because sorting all these separate small sections is less of a help if they are only 3-10 pieces each.
I was tasked with organizing a beach volleyball game at a work event in FL years ago. I wasn’t able to get enough players from our group , so I also recruited a cardiologist who was nearby. I told him he was on standby in case I had a heart attack. Best of luck to you all in Spain!
This was so fun! I really enjoyed the race at the end and find it so interning how Aly and Lindsay met through beach volleyball! Good luck at worlds I bet you’ll be one of the fastest teams there 😁😇😋
Wait! Wait! Wait! Is that Karen beside you? Not that she has to tell the world her schedule, but I never heard a whisper from any puzzles that she went to that event!
I have a question. You have a space that is like 10 pieces by 3 pieces (30 pieces) missing from the finished puzzle. Why do you not try to assemble the pieces off- board? You know, not trying to attach one piece at a time to the finished section. You know that the 30 pieces fit together. Can you not try to assemble a 30 piece section? Then drop it in? Best of luck at the Worlds. Thank you so much for representing California so well.
Another great fun video. Thank you for sharing your impressions and interviews from Puzzle Parley. I was excited to step out of my comfort zone to stop by your table to say hello while attending the parley! 😊 I look forward to future videos.
I hope to one day be able to go to Puzzle Parley and see the handcrafted puzzles being cut in person. Looked like a fun time and I enjoyed the interviews.
