for me this is the most beautiful motorbike on the planet right now. As a 34 year old beginner I'd just hope that they make a 900 Version, that is a bit more approachable for a newbie
Hi there !! Thanks for posting this !! I’m just swapping my mirrors on the V2 SF for the Rizoma Reverse …. When you took off the OEM mirrors do you know what length of screws you replaced them with please as the original ones are too long without the OEM mirror 👍🏻
Have anyone bought the Boblbee rain cover? How does it fare under heavy rain? I don't want to spend so much just for a normal rain cover which water will seep through under heavy rain/long exposure🥹
Great review - installed mine today on my 2024 rogue sixty and set them at two clicks - 75 miles later and they are amazing ! Also added an LED Headlight, and the more comfy seat ! Next will be Tab Performance exhaust with the 1.75 baffles !
If I replace the front portion on the abs brake line, do I have to reverse bleed it. Like connect it to the brake reservoir and pump the brake to draw the fluid into the new line before connecting to the barrel nut?
I proudly ride a 2016 Indian Roadmaster... am so glad I purchased an Indian rather than a Harley. I sometimes ride for 8-10 hours a day, with a few breaks here and there... and just want to ride some more. Moto Marvelous knows what he is talking about, you can bet on it!
If you want cruise controle, you simply don´t have fun and should do something else then riding that bike. I tried the CC when I got my SD1290, just to check that it worked, after that I have not given it a second thought.
I ordered these handlebars, they don’t come drilled for the throttle 😢 haha so extra work, plus figuring out how to remove the throttle assemble was exhausting (fyi anyone reading this, you don’t remove the assembly, you slide in a 2mm hexkey and it pops out, steps can be found in the manual) Did yours come pre drilled?
Been waiting for a video like this for the LONGEST time thanks man. DK has some crazy rules sometimes so good to know what the deal is. I appreciate you
🤩 your bike looks really fkn smart, great job! Thanks for the links, will definitely adopt some of these mods! 👍 where do you get the rims done, is that also part of your friends job? The back one looks unreal!!
Cruise ctrl is pretty useless on a motorbike IMO unless you ride big touring bikes all day long on the motorway. I have it on my bike but I never use it.
I have a 23 1200 Sport and have my own tip.no matter how good Jersey Mike's, don't ride your bike in 26 degree weather after 2 solid days of melting snow . I found out that it still freezes in the shade and a slight blip on the throttle spins hard, catches some Dre and does a 10' backflip in the air then lands on your ass cause a totaled bike and rider. I need to move to Florida or something. 😯😲😧
These winglets are definitely not the reason for buying this bike, but as you noticed they do fend away some cold in winter. One year and 7000 km with mine, no problem and no regrets!
I wonder does buying a V2 compare to the ownership experience of a Porsche Cayman, will you always be thinking of V4 like the Porsche owner will always be thinking of the 911. 🤔
Thank you for sharing this. I am 6'2, ( 189 cm for you) And I'm very interested in this bike. But that was my main concern being as tall as I am. I'm definitely going to need do some comfort upgrades to the bike. Knowing that there are possibilities out there definitely solidifies my decision on purchasing this bike.
Hey, I just subscribed to your channel. I watched your video on the Roma parts for your FTR 1200. I’m just curious what bike do you think is better the FTR 1200 or the Ducati V2 street fighter for commuting road riding etc. Thanks you have a great channel
Hell no. These ain't your daddy's 70's and 80's Harley's. These are legit bullet bike and Harley stompers. They routinely stomp KTM 890 Dukes in the Super Hooligan race series and this is on the Twisties like Road Atlanta, Daytona, etc Fully equipped, these will run within 2 seconds per lap against the GP bikes on those same tracks.
You can't cherry-pick a few characteristics where you claim one bike exceeds another, then claim one is 'better' than another. Bikes are evaluated as a whole, and how it works, or doesn't, as a complete package is the only credible approach. Where's the comparison tests with the competition? Where are the comparison specification tables? Can't ride comfortably above 120-kph? That's an instant fail when compared to many other bikes. More storage? I can store many times that in my VW, along with two more passengers. And it has better A/C, a heater, and a roof. Does that make it 'better'? Your reasoning why this bike is 'better' makes no sense. You can't pay me to buy such an over-weight poor-handling vehicle. I'd be totally miserable riding it and knowing my BMW can ride rings around it, and in more comfort and class...
Funny the evolution.. i went mv f3 800 to a ftr1200 and maybe tomorrow i am selling it😮 ( kind feel apprehensive about that because its one of the most fun and engaging bikes ive owned) but now looking at either s1000r or ducati street fighter or just started seriously thinking about the ducati hypermotard- but for the same reasons i miss the mv triple rush and the bmw may give a the playfull feeling with a great engine.??? Decisions! Gen 2 s1000r same money as the ftr😢.
