Its 14.9V initial charge until it reaches 14.9V trigger voltage that is when the second voltage kicks in of 13.80V. So, the charger would need two different charge voltages. Charge and float.
First check voltage on main filter capacitor if its okay.. voltage shouldn't be fluctuating a lot ...then see output caps, double diode rectifier etc..

My buck converter is always in current mode( red led is on). Why?? It has red and green leds, but only red led is on. Can you help in solving my issue.
Current draw is limited by the sink or target, that implies even if we give 100Amp to a LED that can take only 10amp, the led will take only that 10Amps! (Voltage is a different story though) Current is decided by target/sink and once the sink's maximum current is reached, it would stop taking any higher current like the Ammeter in this test shown In a way we cannot overdrive current beyond what the sink can take, sink pulls current it can take, we cannot 'push' current into sink (if I may say in terms of mechanical motion)
Sir I have a 24 volt 3 amo power supply and want to charge a 12v 7ah battery, as you suggest to set the limit voltage and current but after full charge is it necessary to remove battery from charging connector, I mean will it be automatically cut off charging after fully charged because i want to engage it to my mini home ups to charge the battery?
No need to remove the module because this module don't do trickle charging, but if you don't remove it, green LED on module always stay on which discharges the battery very slowly..
Mentioned that its directly connected to inverting input pin which controls the feedback depending upon its resistance between output and inverting input pin..
i am getting 18v output which should be 19v acer laptop charger.indicator light on charger is ok..but laptop is not taking power..after long rest again charger works.. there is small burnt in circuirt board below main capacitor but not in any green part of PCB and any other components. any solution?
