The name's Theo, and welcome to MuzzlePunch! My little channel where I post about anything I find interesting! I usually like talking about video games and art.
I happen to own a Wiiu kiosk myself that I fished out of a GameStop dumpster back in 2017. It was completely random chance, and It was not in great shape when I got it. It was missing all electronics and was mostly just the cabinet and base. Over time, I began to work at that same store, and I realized that they had actually kept a lot of the pieces from the kiosk (Excluding the console of course), so I was able to start to piece it back together. That being said, it took until just this past month for me to get some of the last pieces I needed to restore the kiosk to a point where I'm happy with it for now. I do hope I could find a few other parts in the future, such as the plate that the console rests on, the acrylic cover that protects the console, the second cabinet shelf, and the second fan in the back. And while I do have most of the original LED strips from the kiosk, I lack the proper hardware to power them, so I'll likely need to find an alternative way to light up the kiosk. At the end of the day, It's a lot of hard work to have a nice display piece for a console that you enjoy, but I would say it's worth it as long as you're willing to be patient and find a good opportunity to pick a kiosk up. And you can bet I'll be keeping my eye out for when the Nintendo Switch kiosks start to get discarded.
OMG AAAAAAH Happy Late Birthdayyyyy Theo!!!! And omg... opening the best magic set ever... I've been going nuts with opening/collecting this set recently because how can I not! So about Metroid Prime 4, specifically Sylux: Sylux first appeared in Metroid Prime Hunters on the DS as one of the many titular bounty hunters. Compared to the others, though, he is notably mysterious. We don't know any backstory or what he looks like under the suit. What we do know about him is that he has a huge grudge towards the Galactic Federation, but we don't know exactly why. His suit is actually stolen GF tech though, which is why it looks similar to the Federation Force suits. Hunters' stories mode is pretty lacking, Sylux just has the same goal as all the other hunters, which is to obtain the rumored ultimate weapon. He likely wants it to make taking out the GF easier. But, as it goes for all the hunters, it was bait by the main antagonist to lure all the hunters into one place, absorb their abilities, and break free from the prison it was sealed in however many millenia ago. Obviously Samus stops it and all the hunters are able to narrowly escape. He next appears at the end of Prime 3, where he is shown following Samus. Next is Federation Force, where he's also teased at the end, but this time he kidnaps a Metroid hatchling from the GF. Those are all of his in-universe appearances. The Metroids we do see accompanying Sylux in the Prime 4 trailer only have 1 nucleus as opposed to the expected 3, which is a trait of the inferior Metroid clones created by the Space Pirates in Super Metroid, called Mochtroids. It's likely Sylux assisted in their creation thanks to the Metroid he stole. Speaking of, I don't believe Sylux was ever stated to be on good terms with the Space Pirates, but he seems to have teamed up with them in the trailer. They are both enemies of the GF, so it makes sense. And since Samus often works with the GF, Sylux isn't too fond of her either.
Great video as usual. Loveed when Blargh ate his words on that last reveal. Square seems to have made a good amount of filler for this event. Allot of remakes and JRPGs. At least we weren't bombarded with a plethra of farming games. Totally started out strong and left it in the same manner.
Blargh's brother and I just watched your video and he is just as excited for Metroid 4! He also is lookong forward to Perfect Dark and Mario/Luigi. I'm just impressed that they finally gave Zelda her own damn rescue mission.
I love your vids and your art style is amazing. But your Nintendo june direct 24 is a good idea but I think Nintendo is going through a tough time coming up with game ideas by the amount of remakes that they've made, but I'm still hoping we get something soon! 😊
Love ur vids. Pls don't ever stop ;) Just found ur channel through the how to draw vid. Awesome stuff and also real fun to listen in the background whilst i Draw etc ;)
Grandma and I enjoyed this! I understand the nostalgia and how cool it would be to have. Maybe you could make one that can hold all the consoles. I'm sure we could pay homage to Nintendo.
Oh how awesome and adorable. What a unique video and I enjoy doing nintendo streams and collection videos on my channel. I don't do as much speculation videos but that's why we have youtubers like you keeping us hyped up! Great job!!!
Hello. I’m a beginner ds collector and gotta admit that you have a really solid taste in games. I’m from Europe though, but the ds cases we got here were big and bulky so it takes up more space. Solatorobo and the big box soul silver I have are the most expensive I currently own
Theo, I share your enthusiasm! The 3ds is one of my favorite consoles, so I hope that this piece of hardware is as you describe. Increased accessibility of these old consoles would be a huge boon to content creators and casual players alike. Thank you for sharing this interesting development!
