My films are usually transport based mainly Aviation Motors, Railways, Canals, Trams also places of interest, days out and Museums (but not yet olde dusty ones 😂 lol) bit of fun and games and any odd stuff I feel like filming at the time
@@gaz11h lol sheds are in your garden. These are hangars. I don't think it's fair for such a marvellous building to be called the same as the rotten woodbox in my garden :D
@@HellRyder18 they are great buildings and I've always known them as Cardington sheds and always refer to them as such think we will just have to agree to disagree on this one 😊
Fantastic concert, but the repeated technical problems with the effects and the video synching were very sad. It didn't effect enjoyment but must have been awful for the performers
2:15 imagine that the trebuchet *does* misfire, and that sling catches you around the leg. For some reason I think that has probably happened before in history, and I can't imagine them living, figuring their leg would either get ripped off or just rip them in half, or at best you'd be launched several hundred feet or more.
My experience with Nimmy's is with the MR2 version at Kinloss, had many an Air Experience flight in them as a local ATC cadet. Just watching this video, I can smell the interior already.

Did 63 missions as the first fighter controller on her in the aew roll the main spa was easy to get over also did radio and engineers panel she was a beauty really great to see it all again pity its white and not grey thank you
I was in the a t c 1972 is there was one left in working order just it was an old girl then it was in the air cadet news some one must have had an air experience flight in her it must had been another air cadet unit bless em I lost out (on that one) rest in peace old Handley page 😂❤😊
Seen all these thrashing around in the 70s 80s at RAF Finningley airshows ,great days 🇬🇧 when you could sit in everything and no overcrowding or ques even ,beautiful lady's giving out stickers for tobacco advertising 😊
It may not be an exact copy of the original FAB 1 or even a close copy ( original full size version is in a car museum in America ) but hey it makes people happy at conventions when they see it and reminds them of Thunderbirds so ok it's not everybody's cup of tea obviously not yours but hey your entitled to your opinion 😁
It had a German designer and had decent performance but was still left behind as other, higher-performance aircraft came along in the late '30s. The designer wouldn't accept the widening of the very-narrow cockpit area to facilitate access to the controls by the other crewmen should the pilot have been injured or killed.
Thanks for this. I was always fascinated by the R1 and the secretive work of 51 Sqn. I served in the RAF from 1989-2005 and in the course of my work on one occasion met some of the crew of R1 XW666 which was lost after having to ditch in the Moray Firth in 1995. Only 7 crew were on board because it was flight testing after a service at Kinloss. All survived thanks to the skill of the captain, Art Stacey. Their account of it all was very interesting. I have never seen a shot of the contents of the panniers/‘bomb bay’ so thanks for that!
My school in Yorkshire in the 60's was close to V-bomber bases. We had regular overflies from Valiants, Victors and Vulcans. We were able to tell which V-bomber it was before seeing it from the engine sound.
What happened to the Bristol 188? is that being left to the elements too? Its not a great idea to leave those incredibly unique and precious aircraft to natures whims.
I visited cosford two weeks ago. Ten years after my last visit. What a vast improvement. At last we can see some of the exhibits that Hendon have kept to themselves for so many years. Cosford needs more hangers if only to get aircraft of the ceiling and down on their wheels. No aircraft should be outside where they are going to deteriorate.
Been meaning to visit again this year but I'm a little put off going with the changes and the removal of a fair few aircraft but saying that a visit is on the cards to see the Wellington now its finished

Very cool… But I wish there was a shot of the projectile flying through the air and landing - also, the force of impact, and the distance traveled- that would be good information
I have been asked that a lot over the years this video has been on RU-vid and it was not possible with the kit I had at the time trees being in the way and the landing area being obscured
