The coolest campsite... Some years ago we camped along the California coast north of Jenner as I recollect. We stays at this little old run down Rv park which was perched atop an ocean side cliff. The view was !AMAZING! They put us in a space right on the edge of that cliff. Talk about memorable! The old man & woman who had created the park decades and decades and decades ago had passed and their daughter had inherited the place and was intent on returning the park to its former glory. I wonder how she is getting along? We should plan a return trip there. !

I miss the old days, when people visited , enjoied, and left. Back when discoveries were NOT broadcast to every Tom Dick and Harry out there. When travelers didnt pimp every treasure they came across. FYI... Southern Oregon has a huge homeless problem. And a meth epidemic. We are smothered with the Jonny- come- latelys that are pouring in from California, thinking they have found paradise, only to proceed to Californicate our Oregon. Our polite, courtious locals are being disrespected on our roads. And our lands are being left dirty and disrespected by these heathens. I miss the Oregon that we locals took care of. Needless to say.... People who want to finance their travels by disclosing every pristine spot that they come across..... Are not people that I can admire.

We pretty much took him everywhere with us. If he wasn't on the trail with us and if the weather was cool enough (pretty much always was) he would just sleep in the truck.

Always remember to NEVER use your batteries alone to operate the slide outs. Either be plugged in to the tow vehicle with the engine running. Or be plugged into the shore power. Using the batteries only is not good for the batteries or the slide out electric motors.

WOW the quality of your videos is top notch! ... Are you done RVing because of cov id? I found you because of your Rogue River valley video. I live about 2 hours from the gorge and it brought back memories of taking pictures there with my elderly mother. Your video showed it MUCH better than I was able to see it in person because I couldn't walk it all with her. And a Plus is that YOU were there when winter water was rushing through the gorge (not in summer) and JUST BEFORE the beautiful yellow and red Maple leaves rained and blew off the trees. I'm going to watch a bunch more. Hope you get to travel and video again... (because that would mean I might get to as well, since I'm not about to get "medicine" to be able to travel.. (I was LOOKING at RVs when co vee hit... 🚐, 😕)

Thank you so much for the kind words! What a beautiful memory with your Mom it is so gorgeous there and was a highlight of our trip. We have stopped traveling for now but we talk almost daily about how we need to get back on the road! We know what you mean about covid "ruining" all the fun plans but hopefully it will be behind us at some point. Thanks again for watching. We really appreciate it!

Great Idaho videos!! I hope you guys are traveling safe still!! Question if you remember? Did you take highway 21 in Idaho from Stanley to Boise or vice versa? Travel Trailer friendly or not so much? Looks real twisted/windy! Thanks for the info.

Thanks! I don't remember the highway. I think in our next few videos we go over the routes in detail and actually map it all out. I do remember loving the driving though. We didn't have any issues or scares with our 27ft. I would def recommend.

Love the vid. Did you guys have any issues pulling that travel trailer with that truck? I just purchased a 33foot trailer and plan to pull it with a ford f150 with tow package. Online says i should be able to pull around 1200lbs and the trailer is 6700 dry. Thanks in advance .
@2texanstravel264
@2texanstravel264 2 года назад
Thanks! We did not have any issues pulling with the tundra. Our max tow was around 8500 I believe. We were usually around 6k7k lbs. We have a cat scale video where we go over it in more detail. 1200lbs towing for a f150 does not seem right, way too low. Maybe you mean 12000 but that seems too high. I'd refer to your manual and find your specific model, engine, chasis etc it will tell you exactly.

Just found your channel by accident. I've watched several of your vids. Your last one was one year ago. I don't understand why you didn't get 1000's of views per episode. You travel to nice places and actually do stuff, and not just make boring "How To" vids, like many youtubers. Keep keeping it real. I hope you decide to make more videos. CC&BC

Hah I used to own a home In patterson 5 years ago or so that flying J didn’t exist and there wasn’t much of a truck stop type gas station there would have to take the exit before if you were looking for easy access pumping there is also an rv park to the left at that first stop light you past coming into the town safe travels looks like fun

You could go up any mountain with a little bit of sense of direction and still have a blast. Hope you guys are being safe where u go
