At the very least, Eddie should come out as aromantic. He so clearly is, with how he is shown. He never likes his partners as people or as companions 🤝. And seems very uncomfortable in romantic situations. He literally has an entire emotional speech to his dead wife, where he *never once* says he loved her. He says he loved his marriage 💒 to her (likely because it was hyped up by his religion and parents), but never Shannon herself. I doubt he could even describe her personality, as it was just a nuisance to the pretty picture, so he never paid attention. In the best case scenario, Buck and Eddie can get together in an aromantic life partnership. Mostly, because I think it would make for a good story, due to their chemistry ⚗ as (unofficial) best friends. And it would explain why they are so okay with not having boundaries like even the most intense platonic friends have.
You can’t keep telling me writers put this kind of dynamic into a series “accidentally.” Yes, the actors’ chemistry has a lot to do with it, and Oliver and Ryan have A LOT of it, but a relationship this close and dynamic has to be designed at least A LITTLE.
okay but out of context the "Christopher already in bed? - Oh yeah" part carries SO MUCH sexual tension thanks to the way mr oliver stark delivered his line😅
I just got a question: what is Buddie happens... they are in the same professional team... Can they work together being a couple? That can be a reason not to make them together for the writers...😢
