@@frizzle9199 ha ha I love it... Grate question... I haven't spoken to K2F about that however that would be a great idea... I will definitely hint at it and see if they are keen 🙏
@@frizzle9199 hey mate thanks for reaching out... I've been a customer with K2F for 7 years now. I first started doing videos because there was no other videos out there. They got 2 prototypes in and I was given the option to give it a go and see what I thought before buying. I decided to go ahead with it because it's an awesome kayak 🙏
@@woddaz1988 hey mate Thanks for reaching out 🙏 Yeah got to say my one got scratched up the paint job didn't really last that well for me unfortunately. Might be worth doing a little bit of research online to see what would work best 🙏
I've watched a few of these videos on Kayaks and one thing I have never seen anyone do is show how easy (Or not) it is to access the front storage on the water or even an Esky in the rear area - IF you do another video could I ask that you consider doing this?
@@d1v1s1onby0 Just thought I'd provide you a quick video to show you the Esky on the rear... I don't have a video showing me standing and accessing the front hatch but I can tell you that it is definitely possible and easy
The 7sv is a great sounder for kayaks. Its almost indestructible. I fabricated a swinging pvc arm for my transducer but your solution seems minimum fuss.
@@potatoesGDITB hey thanks for reaching out... Yeah the rail blazer mounts work well because they can rotate easy... However your idea of a swingarm sounds great too. Would really love to see what you've done there. I have a Facebook group you may be interested in... facebook.com/share/M573h56q3SRwEmDk/?mibextid=A7sQZp Would love to see some video or pics of your setup 🙏
@@josephbrown-rz8kp hey mate Thanks for reaching out... Yeah I got the Yak Power & FPV module through kayaks2fish website. I think that there was some kind of promotion where you get a good discount with the purchase of the NextGen 12
Have you any updates on this Kayak please as I have purchased one to be available at the end of July. Any tips on usage or worthwhile upgrades would be very helpful . Thank you David
@@DavidBoots-d6s g'day mate Thanks for reaching out... That's awesome you're gonna love it The NextGen 13 Duo is a weapon of a kayak. If you're going to have two people on there a good upgrade is the stabilisers which will give you increased stability. The other thing is you could upgrade with the exact same upgrades I've done on the 11.5 or the 12 as they are all compatible. Hope this helps enjoy 🙏
Thanks again mate, good comparison. Very useful. Can you do the usual RU-vid claimer disclaimer as to who is paying for these yaks? Not having a dog, it just seems like standard practice these days. Look forward to seeing you with this one on the water.
Will your rods still fit inside the rod tip holders at the front ? It looks like it may be an issue ? I hope not though. Really enjoying the walk throughs on your build.
That's a good question I don't think it will be able to sit in those grooves and be bungeed... However I'll test it out to see how it can fit and let you guys know 👍
