You and all of the rest of us Wen generator owners would like remote start and shut off kits for our Wen 3800 - 4800 because remote start and remote shot off is far more user friendly than extend run time. Any female can just push the 2 buttons to start it 1 for the choke and 1 for the switch. Then to shut it off it just the switch button, I think maybe not though. I assure you, you will make many many many more sales with the remote start kits and your videos on card. Your videos are very clear and very well done .
Excellent tutorial (as usual). I would like to see either Honda or Yamaha make a 12,000 watt, or larger V-Twin, Fuel Injected Inverter Gen-Set. I would buy one. My Gen-Sets; Honda EM4000SX - 2017 Honda Eu3000is - 2021 Yamaha EF4500ise - 2022 All purchased new, very low hrs. and in excellent condion. Selling all three and will end up with a new 2024 Honda Eu7000is...........Cheers!
Why did you put that hose in such a tight spot to get to and why would you leave so much extra fuel line why would you cut that shorter? OK now I see what you did should’ve waited till the end of the video to make a comment. Good job.
Thanks for the info on the choke cable drum, I had my carburator cleaned at a local shop and my cable no longer worked properly, now it does! Something that simple fooled the technician that did the work. Fixed it myself😁
What do you think of this Duramax generator and the Predator 9500?I heared that there’s a lot of metal shavings when you change the oil?Would you just buy the Honda EU7000is over those?Thanks your a rockstar!!!
They are both okay for the price but if you want something nice get the Powerhorse 7500. I like it better than the Honda EU7000iS and it is half the price. The Powerhorse 7500 is the clear winner in the 7k size generator.

I do appreciate these seminars that you present. Highly educational. Very thorough and technical which leads to real knowledge. Good to have a foundation education not where someone just tells you what to do. I prefer the foundation of theory as it becomes what to do. Be well Paul. Thank you for that comment I am glad to know that some people want to know the theory of operation. I actually got several complaints from people saying they just want to know what they need to replace to fix there unit. It is because of all the complaints that I never finished the series. There is no point in doing something if nobody cares. If I get more positive reviews like yours I may just finish the whole series.
Paul dont worry about those who are negative and want to be ignorant and stupid about theory and how things work. There's no shortcuts in life. Make your series videos. Excellent job ! the way you do the whole work is immaculate ! if all the professionals would do their job like you, we would have a better world ! the only suggestion l have for you here is to put 2 wide washers on both sides of the drilled plastic where you put the brass adapter, so it will hold better the lateral forces when you hook up the hose. And again, what a nice work !!
Thanks for posting this. I'm looking at getting a WEN generator, and it states it has about a 2 gallon fuel tank with a half load time of about 7 hours. We are expecting a pretty bad winter where I am, and I live in the country, so we will not be a priority to get power restored. I like to get my sleep, so knowing I can get my 8 hours and a cup of coffee in me before I have to refuel would be nice.
love this guys videos. I almost made a mistake and converted mine to propane. He gave me some very good insight on what it can do to the valves. I am just going to stick with ethanol free gas and keep fresh gas in at all times. I run mine once per month for about 20 minutes to keep the battery good. Even with ethanol free gas and stabil I still change mine out after 3 months
it is nice that with this kit, there is a provision already available for the pulse port on the fuel pump. not having to remove the valve cover and modifying the PCV valve makes installing this kit much easier. Nice job with this.
I would think this may help with my problem… my gas is leaking into my oil reservoir causing it to push out constantly and even bigger issues because then it doesn’t work once that happens… I would think this would prevent me from having to keep gas in actual tank and I can go over any bumps without the worry. The hf rep says the bumps on the road may be causing the gas to leak back down

I was able to systematically breakdown and test all the components and find my issue by following these very well done videos. Even learned some other info which might be helpful in the future. 👍👍👍
I live in Michigan, but someday I'll bring you my ev 6010 to repair. It came out of a rollover vehicle, bought the generator on craigslist. Hit the start button and she fires right up, let go of the button and it stalls out. I've watched all of your videos, but I'm a carpenter and it's hard to keep up, although I do believe the rotor and stator are good. Look forward to meeting you someday...

I heard one today running in a van I'm thinking about buying. They should definitely have a low idle button on it. An old Marquis gold 5500 runs at 1800 RPMs, very quiet
Also, my generator will only start while holding the start button. I watched your quick carb cleaning video and purchased the quicksilver solvent. When it gets here I’ll let you know my experience.
Hi. First of all thank you for making these videos. It is apparent you are an expert on these generators. I also appreciate the depth in which you go in with your information. I have a question about the cooling system video. You mentioned removing the white wire from sub winding number 1 so subwinding 2 is not charging the starting battery. I have a 3 bank marine battery supply I would like to use the generator to charge. If I remove that white wire, will the generator still charge my battery bank?
No it will not the battery this way. I cut the white wire to keep it from burning up an $1100 stator. Use an external charger to charge the battery while the unit is running. I have replaced hundreds of stators over the years due to the fact that the sub winding is simply not robust enough to do the job.

I'm in Michigan , I have been told in my area that I am thee only person that would take on these ev6010. from one to another you ve taught me well and I want you to finally know. I wish to learn more and more . I am having an issue with the inboard in side start switch where it plugs in to the generator comand box . I was charged with the task to place up right this generator from were the owner slid the entire unit out of a rolling sheriff's large truck / bus type unit. the generator slid out on to an alike stand , this stand gave out and over turned ty he generator. that's all corrected except one issue the harness part I described as that plug area looking at the plug sections lower left 6 position set. the 4 wires that pulled out of that 6 set plug . I need a way to provide you with a short video of the issue. would you feel comfortable if I ask where I might send it , and a contact number. it might be a better way to explain my problem.
