You are making amazing video content. I just watched the video and your video quality is appreciable. I am so impressed by your content, I was analyzing your channel and noticed that You are struggling with video views and video ranking. May I share some tips on how you can achieve your goals?🥰
Bobby & Marie, both such a breathe of fresh air! Love their mindset and approach to this whole trip. So many of us have forgotten our sense of adventure. 🫶
Mexican police is one of most dangerous people !! Because they steal my money and some of mine during searching my body for any durg!! Don’t go tourism spots !!
Myanmar is closed to foreign visitors due to civil unrest (war) there. We ship out of Darwin to Timor Leste at the end of June to drive to Europe (then Africa and Americas) and will need to go through Laos then Tibet, Nepal, India etc. Trip will change and vary due to different circumstances along the way. Great interview Well done.
With your friends having their baby in Mexico, not only did the baby get instant citizenship there, but I think the parents could have gotten citizenship there pretty easily too if they had wanted it. We had friends from Australia that were worried about coming to Mexico because the wife was pregnant and it was expected to be a problem delivery, but they took the plunge and came here anyway. They also were very impressed with the doctors and hospital system here when they arrived a couple of months before she was about to give birth, but so funny - the girl went into labour and they didn't even make it out the door of their Air BNB before she gave birth - it happened that quick and easy in the end.
RV people live a very real life, it's a combination of spirituality, warrior .And why a people came into this world to do ? And we came to see the world in all its diversity! 🐋 🦅 ♾
Lots of "surf" Baja is explored via long 4x4 excursions. It sounds like you didn't venture far from hwy 1. Given your overland rig, I hope you do some more exploring before leaving baja. A lot of the remoteness you heard about was likely from travels too and from these areas. Google Scorpion Bay or Punta Colonet. Those are semi decent examples of popular more "remote" surf breaks. I'll agree even at both spots there's always someone or somewhere to grab a tecate, but I'd hate to breakdown an hour or more into one of those dirt roads. I think those type of situations are where the "survival" stories come from
The vlogs you produce show one side of of your travels. These are the conversations and observations that friends have over a beer, around the campfire, and tell the story behind the vlogs, the good things, the humorous things, personal observations, etc. that make traveling and swapping stories so much fun. Keep at it, we enjoy them. Travel safe.
We probably won’t ever drive, but you guys have provided some great tips for those who might. Very helpful! Love the recap. You guys should do a taco count. ~Cara 😊
This was a great episode! I learned alot about what happens behind the scenes. Sometimes as a viewer we forget that this is a job and don’t realize that it takes alot to produce what is put out for us to see. I have watched the Russos for several years (as I have you guys) and it’s fun to see you both interacting and sharing what you love!
Yeah, “Crispness Tree” is not ideal! Lol. I could so relate to this as I listened to this on Boxing Day night. Christmases are usually spent alone in terms of no direct fam around and hasn’t been that way for aaaages. Lol, Chris- finding all your gifts ahead of time?! Whaa? That is no fun! I love Christmases past - not for the gifts as I actually can’t even remember any (but then again, we’d get one from our mother and maybe one from one of my sisters and that was it but the Stocking from Father Christmas which had an orange, some sweets and maybe a tiny toy). As it is, I loved the scents and foods- most of which we don’t have here in America, like the desserts. The cut out story and Sara’s response ws hilarious! Ha, love it. (Yeah, I think that would have been a warning sing for me too! Lol.) The Fort Wilderness is such a great tip for anyone around there. Never heard of that. Fun and economic for fams. Yes, I totally got your Xmas card. So good. So zany. Perfect. You know, back in my day, and maybe now too, there was nothing going on Xmas day either Ben in London. I mean, I mess you were a tourist and in a hotel or something. It was dead… and cold. I loved some Xmas days in Colorado the few times we had massive snow storms and yet then followed by a bright clear deep blue sky and the sun blazing above so by the end of the day even 18” of snow was all but gone and people were out and about, often in t shirts and shorts and boots just walking around in the sparkling wonderland. Talk about merry!
Happy New Year, Sara & Chris! (Yes, chose to mix that up a bit.) I really enjoyed this one (too) and esp that wish you have for your audience: to not let fear dictate too much of our lives. That really resonates with me too as I face new challenges in the year ahead whixh also means new opps potentially as well. Also, thank you for noting that even just watching these, even the shorter episodes really does help you! That’s so good to know as I’ve wondered sometimes if that even makes an ounce of difference, other than maybe leaving a comment (which I always try to do). It’s good to know our simply watching can help as your audience, I’m sure, like us, want to help where we can! We want to see you reach your goals and are in the journey with you, albeit vicariously, sure, but rooting you on, as it were. They don’t even have to be the same goals in fact. Hmmm… hobbies? That IS a hard one, esp when creatives, as sure enough, it’s so easy to have those lose their pull somewhat when also done for income. I find that with art - which, prior to illustration for profit, I’d do every day but now rarely feel the creative muse. It als it feels exhausting and more so, if having other work in a similar field all day long. My brain feels tapped! But, for me, I’d have to say my number 1 Hobby is reading. Even there, it’s tricky as, being a naturally curious information gatherer , it’s so easy to just read the news - copious amounts but that can leave one rather down. So I’m really now trying to read more from my stack full of non-fiction books! But for you? How about something like, pasta making or making bread? There’s something so wholesome and comforting about that and doesn’t require needing a lot of things. Those are aspirations I have too, esp after hearing about the wonders of homemade pasta or being given fresh sourdough bread from a new friends and feeling like we had won a little lottery! Such so one joys. (Of course, granted. Not gonna work when in Patagonia in your overlander! Lol. Maybe more for when your home in TN.)
Happy New Year!!! Love seeing you and catching up with your latest adventures. Since you travel so much... Geocaching would be a perfect hobby. Res for this year... Get the trailer out more, even if it is just short 2-3 day trips. 🙂
