Hi there, welcome to "Let's Go Fishing". My name is Ed and thanks for taking the time to check out my channel. I have been fishing for a long time and I still get that same feeling as I did as a child sitting on the shore of a river waiting in anticipation for a fish to take the float under. With a few years of fishing experience under my belt my aim is to make this channel informative and entertaining, so please sit back and enjoy.

Interesting clip. I have fished that spot (not posting where but it is getting more known. track up and over has just been re done btw). Funnily enough I too have never had much success with Cunje there but have done well on fresh white bread sliced into rectangles with a running sinker very close in for the drummer. Burley with the crusts, sand and left over bread. Seeing you know where we are talking about try fishing off the point on the north side of the gutter where you did your clip with the blackfish. It is a low swell spot at high tide and you fish at your feet. You will need 30lb line and the drag locked up. No finesse involved just a good old-fashioned arm wrestle. Even so you may get wrecked lol. Let me know how you go. Like any fishing, they are either there or not. Come prepared to fish for other species just in case.
Great stuff, will give it a try. Tried this some time ago with my son but didn't know about the heat treating part - let's just say I didn't think I would make more than one in my life lol. That's the secret hey. Also like the blind cord tip. Just subbed, keep up the great content mate 👍
hi mate - awesome video. Is this near CHB? I frequent that spot heaps for drummer / luderick but never targeted Snapper there before. Might give it a go next time.
@@felixfelicis5574 I recommend going down the rocks at Catherine Hill Bay north of the cemetery. Walk down the beach and on low tide you will find some on the large flat rock at the end of the beach.
Have made some lures cut from stainless steel round bar. Having one flat and one round side and a length of 100mm and weight of 30grms.As the lure has a flat /curved cross-section it causes it to rotate and flash in tidal flow when fishing for mackerel and bass.
Love your videos Ed and have recently started making floats. Having some experience doing bindings on rods I find I get good thread control by putting the thread bobbin in a cup and running the thread through the pages of a thick hard cover book. This gives you good thread tension when binding.
Some people don’t like to eat Taylor. I like to fillet the Taylor, cut it into cubes and fry in hot oil with beer batter, bloody great. Great video Mate
hi mate great videos. Eddie can I ask where that area is at Swansea channel plz? Is it past the boat ramp on the southern side and the best tides I think you said the last of the run out tide? thanks in advance and keep up the good work.
Mate, can you recommend a rod for ocean Luderick that suits a centrepin reel? Is the Wilson Bream spin 10'6" 4-6 kilo any good? Wilson make a couple of Blackfish specific rods but I'm told the action is too slow for the ocean rocks.
@@snoopyandnoopy if you watch some of my vids on fishing for Luderick on the rocks (catch and cook vid) the rod I use is a 11ft Wilson Bream rod. Can't fault them.
@@letsgofishing3249 I do remember watching an episode where you mention the Wilson Bream rod! I took a drive down to Ulladulla today looking for one but no luck. Not in stock at my local Tackle World store either. Probably have to drive up to Sydney to get one. Thanks for the advice - much appreciated!
Enjoyed watching this fishing trip🎣 I can't believe I've never seen or thought of the half hitch over the tail to stop the bait moving, looking forward to trying that.
