So you're seeing the result of a "last pack" flight. The "non-vista" footage is a Hero7 on a symmetrical X frame... that did not crash. The SuperG 399 is what crashed with the Hero10 on top. You never see the footage, cause it was borked on battery eject. (I recovered the file, but it did not get the last 20 seconds of the buffer).
Nice video man. Break away from that GoPro bones you have and go to like any other GoPro but the hero nine like me lol. I think the nine is heavy, but I like the way that it feels personally. I like the drift and speed the quad carries. Don’t be scared to break your drone. You got this! Breaking the drones is just a part of the sport. I remember when I used to be scared of breaking my drones and having to solder. Now soldering is like a regular thing for me when I’m doing maintenance on the quads. I have at least three of these things at one time. Believe it or not. Keep hustling
LOL... This drone was one of my long-range machines. The Bones10 is on there for weight. I have like 5-6 other 5" quads but they are old Analog units. I break quads all the time. (Way back to 2018). I just did not want to break "this one". LOL
Man I kinda did the same thing and crashed. But we're I was flying the grass was super long and hilly alittle bit.. I had to remember how to turn on my beeping finder.. almost lost mine. I didn't have any damage tho.
Thanks for posting. I think i learned that when flipping lay off throttle, kinda glide out of a flip then throttle back up ? Sorry about crash but nice flying tho.
So, I was off the throttle when I went inverted. What happened was, I had my yaw rate kinda high... and went "full stick" and it went into a bit of a "gyro panic"... and it applied throttle to stabilize, sending me into the turf. 🙄
Does anyone know if the stick commands are affected if you are in Mode3? Does it just need to be the left stick and right stick, or is it moreso the throttle/yaw stick and roll/pitch stick?
FYI I figured it out by checking on a separate quad. The mapping does swap sticks here. For some reason, stick inputs are simply not working for me even though I do have BF OSD present and functional. Probably will comment back again once I figure it out!
Sorry @@stumbl35 I just got to this. @bardwell I'm not. Glad you deduced the mapping. It's kinda what I would have expected, but I don't fly anything other than Mode2
This was my first time in Milwaukee and first time seeing Odesza live! Couldn't ask for a better night! Does anyone remember what the name of the song they played with the floating robots around the plant was?
I think everyone is watching Setlist.fm for updates. I'll look thru some of my other clips for "floating robots" and see if I can identify it. I'll post back if I can.
Surprising Bardwell would not have something. But hey... glad it hopefully helped a bit! Actually did this for one of my buddies, and just left it public.
For some reason my phone showed me this video today, even though it's a year old. Very cool footage! You should do a similar one around one of the "cruise ships" that come to Milwaukee from time to time. That would be pretty neat to see.
Nice flying & I just subscribed to your channel. I recently moved to Hillman about 6 months ago from Northern Cali & hoping to find & fly with other fpv pilots in the area. Keep up the great content. Love it!
The drone show is cool. But you guys got aboard the Cort and didn't take any interior video? No behind the scenes? You could've launched that drone from across the slip
Yeah, could have launched from across the channel, and have done many... many times. Fun to get up on deck, and walk around. They were prepping for departure, so some "looky loo's" are not exactly welcome. LOL
