Lisa played brilliantly tonight in Swansea. That bass part where the instruments are introduced is phenomenal and notoriously difficult, it's a marathon bass piece to play and she smashed it. I have not seen this band before, I have seen 1000× worse. It was enjoyable as not seen it played live before. Its such a difficult album to pull off technically I appreciate that. I think when THE man himself did it on TV with Steve Hillage in the mix it was a nightmare to produce.
Vancouver was always my favourite performance, but this is just something else. Age brings even more depth to something that was already beyond perfection.
Who'd have known all those years ago, in a basement club in Calgary, a backup act to Sailcats would recreate the very best rendition of a national treasure's poem? It is time to say goodbye to Carlos, wonderful singer and performer, RIP. I saw Steven LaBrie in Detroit this year 2024 and he was absolutely wonderful. The men are absolutely wonderful, Have played their vinyl LP XX 20 Anniversary over and over. Try not to draw any comparisons between Carlos and Steve. Yes, they are both astonishingly sexy, which gives our girls hearts beating and dreaming...that's what it is all about...beautiful men, beautiful music
Carlos no sólo era la voz, todo él era magia pura,manera de ser ,amigo de sus amigos ,honesto ,humilde ,el hombre de la eterna sonrisa tan cautivadora y picarona,esa mirada penetrante,trabajador nato ,q no se olvide q gracias a su trabajo ,perseverancia consiguió q estás 4 voces se unieran , él tapaba si había algún error . Tb tenía sus defectos cómo él mismo decía. Tanto dió por IL Divo para q esos q se hacen llamar " hermanos" actúen desde q enfermó hasta hoy en día tan mal ,con él,con su familia y tb con las fans. No entiendo porqué ni dieron el pésame a la madre de Carlos, sólo SI a la ex de Carlos,no entiendo las mentiras dichas por UB primero en una entrevista q le hicieron en Argentina,aunque sí porqué,siempre le tuvo envidia . Eligieron a su sustituto cuando estaba enfermo ,sin ni siquiera saber si Carlos podría cantar ,otra mentira más. Si hacer un tributo hacia la memoria de Carlos es cantar una canción con él en la primera gira después de fallecer,no puede ser algo tan bajuno . DM tampoco dijo la verdad cuando dijo q fueron a verlo al cementerio. Por qué tanta mentira? Carlos no se merecía eso y más? Al 3 o 4 día después de fallecer Carlos UB y su mujer estaban brindando con Champagne en una terraza de un hotel muy felices ,la foto la vimos por Instagram y pronto la retiraron. Ni ir al funeral privado,ni una sola flor ,nada de nada . Eso sí la gira la hicieron y nombrando a Carlos se ganaron las fans, todo lo hicieron por money money. Hasta SL no dijo la verdad ,ni Carlos le conocía ni Carlos dijo q siguiera la gira . Carlos en una entrevista bien claro lo dijo ,si alguno de ellos faltase IL Divo no existiría,no lo q dicen q a Carlos le hubiera gustado q seguirían . Esa entrevista la enviamos a la página oficial de IL DIVO para q esas fans q insultan a la familia de Carlos,alguna hasta al propio Carlos lo vieran .Por qué IL DIVO en el registro no se llama sólo IL DIVO? Para q la familia de Carlos no cobre derechos de autor y productor. Por qué tanta mentira,esas actitudes,aptitudes ? Fácil, money money. Ni tienen discográfica,son ellos mismos , ni orquesta ,ni fondos espectaculares,ni tienen buen sonido ,a veces desafinan ,se les va el ritmo y luego dicen q están triunfando sus fans? Han cancelado más de un concierto poniendo excusas ,todo porque no venden entradas . Sólo ver lugares en los q cantan ya dicen bastante. Pero me sigo preguntando,el por qué de no hechos ,hechos ,mentiras , por cierto UB ahora dicen q son más libres y q están más unidos? UB , gracias a quien estás de nuevo en IL Divo ? Il Divo era Carlos, no sólo era el alma y la esencia,no , IL DIVO era Carlos.
