Sorry. I have a very similar shed and floor supplied is completely useless. I had to buy some decking boards to replace the one supplied and make the floor sound and fit for purpose. I did contact the company and was told it was a budget shed and basically what did I expect! Oh dear 🙄
Yeah window s are not great 1 mm styrene used to sell the stuff 😂 will go get some polycarb uav protection 😊 I built a 10x6 by myself today well the walls and floor roof on tomorrow. You get the screws all mixed up in a big bag absolute pain 😢 So out came the deck screws I built a better sub frame using 3x1 timber and will do the same on the inside as well in the form of shelving pull it together pretty happy with it to be fair I will paint it seal it and maintain it make it last for years and years
I've installed the windows but there is at least an inch gap at the top - cant see what I'm doing wrong as it just sits on the sill as per the video - the styrene is exactly square too so I can't have it the wrong way round either?
Brilliant. So easy when you know how! Just used this technique on two released boards on an old potting shed. So much easier than trying to spring the boards back into position together.
Anyone any idea how to support the roof properly if it starts lowering in the middle over the years? I would rather not put a pillar in the middle of the inside of the shed.
OMG! I wish I'd bought this one rather than the similar one I'm stuggling with so much. Come to think of it and watching the video, this is the same kit. It's just that this is so much better construction method than the ones i got with my kit.
Hi I have recently got the 11ft by 7ft but nothing is numbered . I have a base and a roof but one is bigger than the other , is the roof the bigger one ?
I’ve just built this 6x4 shed. I found the Instructions were ambiguous at times and needed to be clearer. It takes some time if you’ve not erected a shed before. You also need silicon sealant for the windows which isn’t provided or mentioned in the video. However once up - it looks good. Time will tell. 🌞🇬🇧🌞20.7.22.
Hello, this all looks simple enough, all except the roof instruction, could I get a little more help with what you do with the roof. I've never built a shed before.
Managed to get it all done bar the roof felt today in about 4 hours with my mum. if anyone needs helps message me and I'll try and take a video and explain what I did, the instructions and the videos don't align perfectly so you have to mix and match and do a bit of DIY. I'd like to point out I used an impact driver and drill (both Makita) which I would highly recommend for this job
Hello there, I have purchased this and have it all built ready for the roof to fit. I have screwed the 2 pieces of wood as described just before putting the roof on. The problem is I can’t get to roof to fit correctly? Any advice would be helpful
@@lewisadams5081 check and make sure all the wood (long thin bits) you screwed to the top and top side of the walls is in the right position. In some cases the wood is screwed in on top and in others it's screwed into the side at the top flush with the wall, the drawings don't explain this very well so you have to study it to make sure it looks correct
Great Video !! Please keepmaking more such informative videos. I recently did a KEF Q150 Bookshelf speakers review on my channel. link for your suggestions & to learn from you, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IasdvlDNzJw.html
@@merciagardenproducts8716 Thanks guys, just finished building 6x8 not too bad for the price but the doors could be better as they split in some places.
Lot of people moaning about quality.. a 6 x 4 is circa 450 quid.. a "premium" shed is at least twice that.. pays your money, takes your chance.. I don't see what the problem is..
You’re right, I priced cls and ship lap cladding to build my own, £500+, these sheds here will last at least 15years with good maintenance and treatment. Does the job for garden storage. You wonder how the guys moaning end up watching the video 🤷🏻♂️ (probably bought one)
