Dude, you do a amazing job however I can point one thing out you’re doing wrong circular motion I mean, I don’t see anything wrong with how you’re doing it but I keep getting told use a circular motion when I don’t people will correct me all the time to use a circular motion and it’s quite frustrating and annoyingso now my turn you motion, buddy lol
Just received mine. This videos shows me how I f*ck up. I do the install myself. But now seeing I need trimming, templating, drilling 18 holes in my trunk. Miiinnnga.
He's using 100% Isopropyl alcohol, not rubbing alcohol, which is mostly water. Take a few steps AWAY from the vehicle when you spray your cloth, or you will get the spray everywhere on the car.. He left out the last step, which is to polish the coated glass with a dry paper towel, until it is clear.
This stuff is amazing. Now you can turn off the auto wipers on Tesla’s autopilot (FINALLY), I don’t need to use the wipers at all, unless the windscreen gets dirty from other vehicles spray on the motorway. On my 22 mile commute I don’t need to use my wipers in pure rain, maybe once or twice
You always pull up your wipers and get the full windshield when you clean it. No difference in spraying a towel or applying right on the windshield as all you are doing is spreading it around the same way. You are just wasting more spraying it on the towel as it goes flying off in the air. At least when you spray it onto the windshield the majority in going onto the windshield and not into the air.
It's worth it to spend the $175 - $250 for a quality shock mount.....Cast aluminum makes no sense......Ford should have used billet from the factory and charged a few more bucks......I just put Steeda mounts on a 2016 GT......They actually do make a huge difference when trying to achieve zero deflection......
Absolutely good advice! 👍 Rainex also has washer fluid that renews the application. Side windows, mirrors, rear window benefit as well. Rainex has saved my bacon many times in heavy rain and heavy traffic. Good video...
For those of you who don't have much time, just spray rainx directly onto a dirty window and "clean" the window with it. Then just rinse windows well and wash the car. It will work just the same.
lol man every video I watch no one shows exactly how to correctly wire up the damn wires man I got the blue tooth to find my bt on my phone but lights won’t turn on
I clean the wind shield with any Glass spray cleaner including the wipers, Rainx instructions state apply rainx to a clean soft cloth from the top small circular movements all over window, Then after another clean cloth apply tape water to cloth damp only and wipe over window and allow to dry job done!!😮
💥Damn, bro. With the size of that huge towel and all those pumps that was enough product to do 3 windshields. Use a tiny piece of that towel and you can just spray it right onto the glass and move it around with the tiny towel piece. That monster towel soaked up so much unused Rain X into it.
The instructions clearly state spray it onto the towel, not the window. Also I err on the side of liberal usage. it's pretty cheap considering how long it lasts, you wanna make sure you get a good, solid coating.
I wouldn't use alcohol on your blades, the rubber can become misshaped on some cheaper blades. Personally I use the same Rain X on a towel and give the blades a good wipe, works just as well 👍
The Rain X coating only works if you have a good-size rain. The tiny droplets, like a mist, won't run down, but a normal shower or heavy rain will. I use a clay bar before the alcohol cleaning. Dirt will ruin the wiper blades. Do this in the shade or the garage, and away from other cars, so you spray doesn't get on the paint. Rain X washer fluid isn't the same as the Rain X glass coating!
Just watched a video and someone had commented about this exact vid. This is a great sounding V6. Definitely making me think a little more about what I want to put on mine.
