You should try nitrolux its really good, oil package is good too wont dissapoint my motor runs good with it, id say it worth giving it a try tuning is easy
Perfect but what temp is it running at. Even during break in I will lean them out a little to make sure they are above 200* during break in is the only time I suggest using a temp gun. After break in you'd be correct in not using one and learning to tune by smoke and sound
@@Nitro_rc_life I checked the temp right before I stoped running it and the engine was at 222 degrees. I will still use a temp gun just won’t rely as heavily on it as I normally do. I was having a problem getting it started at first with the needles flush like the manual says but that didn’t work. Flush never works for me. lol🫡🫡🫡🫡
@hobbymanrc79 yeah man I don't even read that shit anymore once you understand the sound and smoke that's all you need but I'm glad it was getting up to temp I see alot of people driving them so rich they don't get up there the whole point of the heat cycle is to get it hot. I usually cook my engines too 300* before I start them and keep them above 250*
@@crazykyren3897 Thanks for watching!!! I love hearing them to and the smell also. Just something about nitro!!! Congratulations on your new nitro!!!🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@haywirerc Thanks for tuning in!!! I’m glad I chose the two I have because they were fairly inexpensive and easy to break-in. Great for me to learn how to tune and work on before I start getting Novarossi and brands of the like🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@hobbymanrc79 in my opinion they are the best and I love how basic they are which makes maintaining easy. Obviously novarossi and other racing engines are built to be abused but for what we do Sh are perfect.
That’s a nice buggy man. I’ve only used vp and may experiment for some other alternatives. I’ve only been in the hobby for 2 years and still don’t know much about fuel selection. Good video!
@@haywirerc Thanks for watching!!!! The support is much appreciated!!! That’s the first kit that I built to. I’m still fairly new to nitro myself, so we’re learning together!!!🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@g-radiocontrol3739 Thanks for tuning in!!!! Just got some more fuel the other day, I’ma be getting some 2 speed action this weekend!!! Glad to see you putting out more videos bro!!! You have a nice collection!!!🫡🫡🫡🫡
whats up bro!! SO overall positive review on this fuel it looks like ye? From the vids it looks to run similar as you old fuel so I would say thats good!!
@@hybrid32494 Hey bro!!! I’m no expert but I do think that this fuel is great!!! Reminds me of Bones. Definitely going to order a few more gallons so I’m good for a while!!! Thanks for tuning in bro!!! SICKENING!!!!🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@hobbymanrc79 Yes dude, the Bones was great!! We are all going to miss it for sure. This fuel I might give it a shot too. Great job with this video, spreading the Nitro Options out there.
This is a great 2 speed rtr I have really enjoyed mine I have the 2 speed adjustment out 4 turns a little later 2nd gear shift. Serpent just needs to package them better
@@douglasbooth1948 Thanks for watching! It definitely is. I think I’m going to try to adjust the the shift point soon. Thanks for the adjustment tip🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@Nitro_rc_life Thanks bro, I will lean the low a lil. Was having the hardest time getting it to run good from the last time I drove it. But this fuel is great so this run was easier to get it tuned better🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@Nitro_rc_life Worth a try. I’m no expert but this fuel seems to be as good as what I was running before( Bones Brew and Power Master) and is lower in price shipped🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@GrandPitoVic Thanks for tuning in!!! The support is very much appreciated. I definitely notice a big difference. Plus I had the gear mesh a lil too loose before. lol Can’t wait get more one speed gearing and to get all the parts necessary to make it a two speed again🫡🫡🫡🫡
@hobbymanrc79 YES sir!!! I had the gear mesh on my clutch bell 20 years ago. I had sparks co.ing off of it at the track. Ate the gear. I pulled them back out this year and I just tore the gear the rest of the way off lol. Opps. I have to get a new bell lol. Turning it back to a 2 speed would be awesome!!!!
@@RCWalletVacuum Hey, thanks for watching!!! I like this Serpent a lot. The only things that I changed soon as I got it out the box was the electronics , that’s it. For the price, it’s a great buy!!!! Definitely a great rtr for me as I am still fairly new to nitro🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@Robrismo-rc Thanks for tuning in!!! I appreciate the support. It really is a ripper. Especially for the price. I’m anxious to try different pipes and headers on it. Plus I’m looking to get all the two speed transmission parts for the GT2🫡🫡🫡🫡
