I’ve had mine for about four months now. Was driving in some really rough conditions real fine sand. And it bound up the cable and burned out. One of my differential servos had a really bad experience with the service side of it. Other than that, though the trucks, great I really like it. The body is super tough. just had a hard time getting service and new servo. They don’t seem to be standard servos either. But they’re inexpensive from FMS.
I would rate it 8/10. Body wasn't painted the best and the radio range isn't as good as some of the more common radios on the market. In terms of durability, it's great
Ess one plus is a great option. You will need a different esc and rx because there is no throttle ch on the stock esc/rx two in one that this truck comes with. I'm running different electronics so I can plug a sound module straight in
AWESOMENESS!!! That is insanely fast for running with 40 series Mud Slingers --- extreme tire and weight in there with steel beadlocks. I'm impressed for sure. Here's my SCX6 big rig converted to ClodBuster axles. It can't go fast like this, but its hugeeee running on 40 series Rock Crushers -- which is the biggest 40 series tire by diameter thats out there pretty much, 8.7 inches tall if you put inflatable tubes inside and give them some aire. You might try somehting like that for this rig --- it would be INSANE INSANE!!! I used 8inch scooter inner tubes for inflatables -- air up/down witha s imple aire compressor. With Crushers i think ou'd find it could rock crawl AOT better and still rip pretty good in the mud and other off road terrain types. Also - noticed your rod end dilemma there at the end -- you can buy 4mm Steel Heim Joints on Amazon for really cheap --- i built all new links set for my SCX6 Clod Axle setup using Steel M4 Heims and M8 Heims and used 16mm Aluminum tube for massive rear lower links. You gonna need to build or get Vitavon beefier parts runnin' that fast lol. SO FREAKIN FAST!!! Got a GPS? I'm NEVER BREAKING A LINK AGAIN! Dude that thing is a beast, definitely subscribed to see more of this, I have proline super swampers without foams with air. (Stock wheels I added a air valve). It's a little scary running big power it's all over the place lol 😂
Click bait. Your title says 8s. Which would be 33.6volts and could be achieved running two 4s lipos in series. You said in vid running two 4s lipos in parallel which is still a 4s setup, no? The title would then be accurate saying "4s2p" and not 8s. Unless you meant to say wired in series. Still a cool setup!!! 🎉
