@@washinglad1400 sad should use like white and mixed I might get one of these or an indesit one I’d just use mixed or eco 40 60 for darks and white for bedding and whites
@Laundrylover2011 Samsung is in my shed with the Beko WMB, Hotpoint WMA and Gorenje WA65145. Yes I do like the new Hotpoint but it is a bit fussy when spinning
Would be interesting to see which motor this has. Sounds like the newer motor (with plastic housing that takes forever to slow down) but with a different inverter module, or possibly just updated programming on the inverter to allow a mild spin brake.
@washinglad1400 Indeed, having looked into it a bit more the updated 7kg models use a new Welling 3 phase motor. The 8 and 9kg models still use the Nidec motor in plastic housing (although a different model). And the 10 and 11kg models, including active care range now use a plastic Nidec motor too. This basically goes for any updated versions with model number ending 6. Will be interesting to see if the newer Nidec motors have included spin brake or whether that is just in the 7kg with Welling motor. Also interestingly the new 11kg 'nsw' models seem to have the direct injection system fitted, although this isn't marketed anywhere.
@@washinglad1400yeah sadly they have, although there’s some indesit brushed still being produced it’s weird, the graphite and black 7kg is brushed atm but won’t be for long odd change over lol 😂
@@washinglad1400they've discontinued brushed yes, but there is still loads of online shops selling brushed Hotpoint 7kg machines had you of looked around. My one is a nwsm743 and you can still get it from very, Argos, marks electrical, appliances direct and others. It's a shame really but hey ho.
