I'm a resident of central Pennsylvania, formerly residing in Georgia and Colorado. My current hobbies include walking, visits to Knoebels Amusement Resort, and filming freight trains at the Amtrak station in Lewistown, PA. Though on this channel, you'll also some of my former hobbies, like trainspotting in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, riding MARTA trains in Atlanta, and recording chairlift rides in Colorado. 🙏😊
In the past few years, I've managed to capture thousands of freight trains on one of Norfolk Southern's busiest rail corridors, catching the whole gamut from manifests to intermodals, coal, oil, trash, and grain trains, and more. You'll also see occasional videos from some of my other side trips. Do subscribe if you want to enjoy some of the best footage you can find of action on the Pittsburgh Line!
Equipment used: -Camera: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus (as of January 2020); Sony HDR-CX675 (some videos); Samsung Galaxy S8+ / S8 Active (pre-2020 videos)
It would be nice to see heritage freight cars, that is painting them in the livery of fallen flags, but unfortunately, they would probably succumb to graffiti.
Knoebels is a bucket-list park for me and Twister is a bucket-list ride specifically, because the original Mr. Twister was the first big coaster I ever rode. In hindsight, it was a really hardcore choice for that, maybe too hardcore (I should have started with Wildcat instead). It scared the bejesus out of me. Years later I went back and was able to appreciate it more, but now it's long gone.
I think the changes Knoebels did to recreate Twister with the space restrictions make it more of a twister than Mister Twister was. Since now the track threads through the helix multiple times.
Thank you for this, I'm trying to find some good fireworks. I went to Decatur last year and there was too much of a delay in between. Plus I couldn't hear any music. 😢 Centennial is out this year.
