I got it from Menards. I believe the sheet I got was $5 for a non-glare 8”x10”. The one I got was super thin which saved money but that doesn’t matter for a bird feeder.
I’m not sure, maybe someone else watching will know the answer. These are just house filters for a household central air / furnace system. I don’t know about availability for the EU but hopefully those keywords will help find alternatives or availability.
very nice build but the reason you're building it is to remove the dust in the air.... does it work? I have my doubts that this is going to work well enough
Yes it works. How well it functions depends on CFM of the fan, the quality of the filter, and the room size. So there does have to be some thought to optimize it for a particular space.
Very nicely made, and i'm all for it, building it yourself. But when it comes to this, airfiltration, your health, buy a pro machine. Its a buy once cry for a week once, but its your health. Invest in it! But, you build it very well, no comment on that!
Thank you! And I agree. I have a ceiling mounted unit so I built this if I need additional filtering. A nice bonus is I can use a fume or charcoal filter. It doesn’t replace the respirator but it helps minimize the fumes over a 12 hour period while a project drys.
I don’t. Unless it’s a longer camping trip then I’ll just use the campground showers. But if I ever get sick of that I can convert the bathroom to a wet bath.
I couldn’t use the fence sliding version because of my hi-low fence. The adjustment knobs are in the way. Besides that, I like jigs that fit in miter slots because they can have their own measurements traced on adjustable parts.
Wonderful job @fangerwoodworking. Don't suppose you've any thoughts on a simple box joint jig that enables multiple width joints without a dado stack? My dewalt 7492 won't permit a dado system. I'm unhappy making joint only a blade width, tend to be too fragile. I try to make larger box joints but not so uniformed. Many thanks.
I’ve been thinking about a similar issue for a while and have an idea I may try soon. Maybe an adjustable stopper jig. Another option is building one for a router table. Since I recently made a new router table I’ve been thinking about making a box joint jig for that.
That was AWESOME!!!! Straightforward, no crappy music, well built, actually doable and without a ton of “I own festool everything” flexing! Please keep up the good work! I look forward to watching your channel grow
While all this is a great idea, all I have found over the years is you just end up with a bunch of useless clutter in your vehicle as a result of all these storage organizers. As cool as it may seem, its just another excuse to not clean and take stuff out of your vehicle.
