Spies are literally useless when playing against hardened opponents or tougher/toughest ai as they will be dispatched almost immediately. Not to mention that they take up pop. space. So, having dozen of scouts following armies and having built the centry towers around cities are a must. The only exception is when you are playing as the Russians + building the Kremlin wonder. Then it's quite sustainable to have them. Again, if you can have an actual unit instead of a spy, the better

Spies are good against main battle tanks. Even through the Abrams is supposed to be able to fire while moving, main battle tanks in the game can't fire while they are moving. If you have a large force, and the enemy attacks with its own army, you can send out a single spy, for each tank. The tanks should be converted by the time they move into position. You can concentrate the rest of the army on the smaller units. If you have enough spies, you can also try to convert the Bradleys. They may fire back, but if the rest of your army is fighting, they might be concentrating on the rest of your force & ignoring your spies. If you can see your enemies activities, you can also pick off the battle tanks, one at a time. Your spies can take a few hits, so you might even be able to convert the light fighting vehicles, one at a time.

@@rattlythoughtgaming6209 That's fine. Often you will see tanks patrolling on their own - especially with average or easier difficulty. Since they are slow & can't fire until they've stopped, you can easily convert them. Make sure to drag them to your side when they are converted. They can draw fire while your spy & the tank escape. They can take plenty of hits. Let them heal, then add them to your front line. You can also hide them in the back. You don't want them destroying what you're trying to convert. Once you've built up an army of them, you can send them back to your enemy as a gift. If you convert a large number of the Bradleys, it's sometimes fun to put the whole group on auto explore mode. They can fire as they are exploring & can cause a general nuisance. Since they are exploring, they are also constantly moving, which makes them difficult to pin down.
Is there a way to tweak the ambient wind noises to be lower then the unit shouts or are they under the same audio setting? I love the warg growls and charge shouts but the loud wind makes it so eerie haha
@GloriousGrunt ... Yes , you can actually turn down the sound of Ambient and then turn up the sound of the shouts and growls ... I will check quickly today to change some settings to make it a bit more Chilling 💥🫡

Nice to see a relatively recent upload on this alluring yet difficult game. Never played Nomad but seen plenty of viddies by experts who made everything seem easy. Simply can't play this at Normal speed, beating Tough AI on Slow is best I've done after many years of intermittent play. Anyway thanks for posting this and good luck. Cheers!
That's true Rise of Nations can sometimes be a bit complex and there's always alot you can do ... I also have to admit that Tough Ai on Rise of nations can be a wrestling match 😁 or a crazy grind 😵 ... but stay tuned I might drop some fresh Gameplay soon ... 🥳💥
canonrush against ai? bruh and wtf with that wall? you don't need that much of supply and armory so early, just build normal 1 supply 1 barrack and then close it with 2nd or 3rd supply
To be very honest I was never a massive Starcraft player , but things have changed and I have found interest recently due to my love for Strategy games ... 👍🎮
Btw since you know so well about the RTS games. I need you to help me find one game. I had that game as a gift when i was a kid and played it for few missions. I dont remember the name but i can tell you how it was. The plot is about a alternate universe where there is a crazy tv show of a Huge prison that has several factions and they have tanks and mechs, they fight to become the champions of that prison. The gameplay sets you as a Alternate US army unit, that enters the show as a prisoner team but are actually military soldiers who have to win that championship and kill the dectator who holds that prison. Enemy factions had mechs and troopers some based on viking demon theme , and others were sort of ancient egypt fused with futuristic weaponry. The Main faction had grey mechs that looked quite normal. If you know the game please tell me
Hi to be honest I did play alot of different Medieval RTS Games , but not a big Variety Overall ... but it might be one of the following games ... *command and Conquer:Red Alert ,*Command and Conquer:Tiberium Wars, *Command and Conquer:Kanes Wrath, *Dawn of War , *Dawn of War:Winter Assault , * Dark Reign 2 ... or even check on Steam , they have a massive Variety of RTS games ... I really hope you come right ... 😁👍
@rattlythoughtgaming6209 oh yes, i know these games. Sadly none of them fits. Its crazy cause back in the day the game looked way above its time. I remember you could capture points similar to Dawn of war 2, they gave you resources and served as teleportation points so you could transport forces from one captured point to another... the music theme of the game still plays in my head.. i remember that the main army was blue grey, and the enemy were dark brown red and something else
