N take out Carter and put in ANYBODY else. Someone with a slight bit more effort would make a world of difference. Some plays it looked like he was out there playing flag football
Kirk has a problem getting under center & moving his legs in order to play-action so they keeping him in shotgun. That can work against a weak Bucs defense but couldnt score 1 TD against the Saints. You need that play-action to buy time against a good pass rush that Kirk has already proven forces him into INT's
Idiot front office tbh. Bro over signed DTs and now we lost a 6th round pick off our practice squad. A wasted pick when we're short on LB, CB and many other spots. Their 2024 draft class hasn't done a damn thing. The guy they traded up to get in the 2nd has less than 5 tackles. They needed to add guys to make a run now and they just couldn't pull it off. They signed a broke QB for 180 million and had to waste our first round pick on a QB that wasnt even regarded as the best of the draft when we had Brock Bowers and the entire defense sitting there for us. Now we have Kyle Pitts who isnt even a top 30 TE. This team wont get it done. Sorry, Im not living in denial with you all. We're barely beating teams we should be destroying given how much money they just had to spend.
Great work on Thursday for the win! Keys for continuing to win: 1. Continue and perfect the Koo's use of "Death by 1000 cuts" field goals. 2. Get Pitts more involved in the game. 3. Perfect the use of the 5/10 yard dump pass. 4. Eliminate the missed tackles. 5. Develop a Triton attack with 2 rb and a te. ,6. Work on developing a blitz package. And continue with the great work!!!! Go Falcons and "Rise Up" !!!.
I think we asking for to much for a bunch of 1st year coordinators. Edge is the biggest issue we have,especially when out db's play so far off. Fix that and we'll be ok
They need to give Tyler more carries than Bijan. Dude always dancing and not running forward. Tyler is a better back that breaks tackles and runs angry. Their defense is hopeless for a pass rush. Even if they got Reddick still would be bad at QB pressure. TE position is whatever, dude is scared over the middle.
I would much rather be the defense that is last in rankings and the team that capitalize on critical moments, than be the team who's no.1 and giving away games entirely. I'm just enjoying the journey this season.
A work in progress. Great secondary, new defensive coordinator. With a longer time frame between games, we'll see the Falcons defensive and offensive playbooks opened up a little wider. New schemes, blitzed, and plays which complement player strengths. Remember Bijan has not been completely healthy the last two weeks. The Falcons are a team, what with this coaching staff, that is going to get better every week. Eleven wins. I enjoy your broadcasts.
Bijan keeps running into the arms of defenders when he goes in between the tackles. He has to get downhill. He plays too many games with his little juke move that only works in the zone run. Also, he can be more patient when hitting his holes. He's not waiting for the blockers to get downfield.
We tried to tell em after the draft, that it wasn't enough.. but look at our 2nd round picks on, THERES YOUR PASS RUSH PEASANTS.. Well where are they Terry?? Most of them haven't seen the field, we can't keep unloading capital in trades to improve.. do better in the draft. Also now yes, do it, might as well at this point, trade for Reddick and just pay him,.IDC what it takes
The falcons have a history when it comes to miss tackles if you will notice in most of their games they are diving or trying to trip the player in order to not get hurt! This is the coaching's fault in not teaching them how to tackle the player or ball.
Kyle Pitts is Falcons ultimate offensive player when he is in the lineup it presents nightmares for defenses that have to use double coverage that opens up the Falcons other offensive players to gain yards!
