It makes perfect sense why the drive is showing up with less space. It's because it has bad sectors and automatically Cancels the bad sectors. The hard drive needs the bin
Hello 👋 greetings and blessings first , wondering if you can help me with my 1996 land cruiser to make a conversion from automatic (343f) to manual transmission (h151f) without charging the full time tranfer case 🤔 do is possible Run the shift stick gearbox keeping the OEM full time ?? THANKS
Hi M8. I've an old V1 (48k) O2R. No output from my aux o/p's. {[Everything else seems to work fine]} Any ideas? I shall take apart and check that the Stereo jack sockets are ok unless you stop me. Many thanks for all your work! Roy ( I think I know why you pronounce routing as rowting where we pronounce it rooting here in uk. LOL)
Bit of a long shot here but I'm not getting any auxiliary outputs from my Model 1 48k Yamaha O2R. don't know how otherwise to contact you. Don't know your name but I see you're a smart guy. Thanks in anticipation.Roy. In case it matters I'm hooked up to Protools via light pipes {adat interface cards}. Cheers from Scotland
Ok, a simple fix... on the HD24 you can have 1-16 as digital and 17-24 as analogue. You can switch this within the HD24 and thus run the return from it back into the 02R's 17-24 inputs as analogue. BUT... you can only record 1-16 then bounce whatever tracks within the HD24 across anywhere onto 17-24. I had this exact same setup. Worked fine.
@@OldMatesBackyardTech Thank you very for the response. Let me ask the question again, for it seem you didn't understand the question or maybe I haven't gotten what you said I wanted to know the combination keys that will open the bios for f this chines made Lenovo g560 S/N CB08214476 Machine name: Desktop-KPR5PBI System Model: 0679 BIOS: InsydeH20 version 29CN40WW (V.2.17) Thank you very much
Sorry to hear you're having troubles, mate - hope all gets sorted soon. Not been that great myself either - away on holiday this week, and I've put me back out. On the plus side - gives me a chance to catch up on RU-vid content, as the weather here on the Isle of Wight is garbage today. Looking forward to seeing the Mixbus videos
Old Mate, a question for a future video. I am in a study group for professional voice actors. A person in my group had his microphones ruined by high humidity. He is looking for something to protect his mics. Humid weather was so damaging that the gold part of the mic capsule melted.
High humidity??? That's a new one. OK, let me see what I can fi do our. What sorta of mic was it? Dynamic ? Condenser ? And just outta curiosity what brand?
@@OldMatesBackyardTech His Mic that died was the Lauten Audio LA-320 V2 Tube Condenser. He lives in a humid part of Asia. I was told once by a Rode product person to cover up my mic with the sock when not in use, to avoid humidity damage.
The guy from RODE's is right. A sock or something similar is good idea (along with a proper mic sock) Bloody good mic destroid though. I'll be honest a mic sock is the way to go and when not using it, put it away That's often why when it was humid, i would not use a Neumann or anything suck MIC unless i was in A/C. will do a vid on soon though
@@OldMatesBackyardTech He desperately put his other mics in desiccant and saved the other 4. Evidently there are very expensive mics that are designed to be humidity proof. Not that you should take liberties.
@musicalneptunian yeah those mics aren't cheap. Um they claim humidity levels of 50-60ish% but areas with higher humidity over I think 80%+ they need to be used air con of 60% humidity
those 7th gen core i7 are amazing i'm watching this video on a Dell Optiplex 7050 MT it has a core i7 7700 chip runs nicely i actually replace my beelink 5800H with this dell pc and man this dell is amazing.. amd apu are not always the greatest, but man this intel cpu is amazing even if its quad core its quite indeed powerful i slap in a RX 6400 msi gpu and man this pc is pretty damn good i have it in the living room i call it the couch setup :)
Old Mate, a lot I could say here. I am slightly older than yourself. Also brought up in Melbourne, SE. In our day one word scared people: Torana. That was the main youth detention centre [boys]; the one for girls was Langi Kal Kal. Never ended up in one. But I did speak to a parole officer who worked at Torana. You put your feet on the table at Torana, you are stuffed. These places, and Pentridge for adults, had almost a mythological aura. Now what do you think of? It's a blank. Goulburn? What's the jail that gets mentioned in TV shows like Pentridge was in Cop Shop? Then there's bettting, vaping, looking up to clowns like Andrew Tate and wanting to be them, and as you say social media notoriety. p.s Turana. Apologies to the car brand lol.
Looking forward to the Pro Audio Content, OM. If you're doing anything else this weekend, can you please (whenever it's convenient) go through the old /etc/fstab - especiaoly when mounting external volumes - that would help me loads, but ..... fair dinkum if you'd rather not. Best wishes to you and the other hald
I've had the 4001 in black for years. We moved and I'm hooking it back up/lost the remote of course. Question Mate,,,do you think HDMI input is that much better than Digital Optical?
as a big coffee drinker myself this video is awesome! wow that is a lot of surgar, but I know a lot of people that like sugar in their coffee... i like my coffee with just black and some coffee cream.. I usually like irish cream in coffee and i find to me personally like my coffee like that.
You're right about the coffee - it's still Friday night here, and I've had a week from the arseholes of hell, so you don't need to be Sherlock to work out what I'm drinking tonight....... Recording my new video tomorrow - spoiler alert it will be infinitely worse than yours
I say if you got the hardware... might as well use them and put em computers into use right on... i have a bunch computers laying around and honestly I do the same Old mate.. F cloud shit eh.
I haven't watched the build vid yet, but Debian + KDE should run juuuuuuust fine on a 2-ish GHz quad core with 8 gigs RAM, unless I'm sorely mistaken 😂
I'm biased though, because I do mostly backend web dev shit, so I just want something that's snappy and has good package repos. I tend to jump between Debian and Fedora, and on lower spec machines I go Cinnamon over KDE
Appreciate the shoutout, OM. Glad you're enjoying the phone mount. This video is yet another proof that Debian can be installed on practically any computer made in the last 10-15 years (with a few exceptions, of course). It's a great, stable and efficient OS, and, while not "bleeding edge" like Ubuntu/Mint/Fedora, it ticks all the boxes - I love it. I even got it installed on a chromebook, it ran great, but the sound didn't work - I'll have to revisit that at some point. Show us yer coffee machine, fella 😃☕
