I make my with raw broccoli, bacon, green onion and currants. The sauce is sugar, lite mayo and red wine vinegar. Not heavy with a tang. And crunchy and fresh.
I'M A FAN OF BROCOLI, BUT I HAVE A VATA CONSTITUTION AND WE HAVE TO EAT IT SLIGHTLY COOKED TO BE ABLE TO DIGEST IT WELL. SO I'LL MAKE IT W/COOKED BROCOLI & CASHEW CREAM INSTEAD OF YOGHURT.😉😋 🌺☮️💟🌺
I'm not a big fan of raw broccoli, so when I make it, I rinse it, microwave for just a couple. It changes the texture , and while warm, it absorbs the seasonings better.
Thank you mama (and daughter!) for explaining that the fingertip rests on the SURFACE of the rice when adding the water. Others just appear to stick their finger into the rice but now I see that isn't what they are doing! This helps me bunches!!
I haven’t tried this broccoli salad sounds amazing I love Arby’s chicken salad because I am not a big fan of mayo but they make there’s with Greek yogurt which is super delicious and creamy
The KEWPIE you have was made here in the USA, go to any Asian Grocery Store and get the real KEWPIE, it's made in Japan and MUCH better. Your Furikake Salmon is Da BOMB..! 😋
