I sailed into Southampton on Anthem from New York and sailed out to Norway in May. Love Southampton! Not sure why they are going from Indy in 25 to Liberty in 26. They are both Freedom class ships and hold almost the same number of passengers. The ship Royal should send in 2026 is Utopia. It’s an LNG fuel ship and the only one that can visit the Fjords of Norway starting in 2026. Our Anthem cruise in May had almost 4500 passengers. Utopia would book well from Southampton. @@ShipFacedCruisesNews Exactly! Shared a big table on my Anthem transatlantic with great people from across the UK and Ireland. They said Royal is expensive in Europe versus MSC. Even my Princess cruise from Southampton was cheaper per night than my Anthem cruise to the Fjords. Got the two Royal cruises discounted, plus OBC, from United cruises. Got Princess cruise discounted from Cabin Closeout Store through CruiseCompete. Sometimes it’s cheaper to book direct. Got the best deal booking my next cruise with Royal, plus redeemed Royal credit card points for cruise & OBC. A transatlantic from Orlando to Lisbon, stopping at Perfect Day and the Canaries. Can’t wait! 😊

Hi. I’ve always cruised with Royal Caribbean but they haven’t got any cruises with accessible balcony cabins for next year. I’ve looked at Celebrity on this ship and have read so many reviews which haven’t been very good. What is your opinion of celebrity and Is the accessibility, excursions, ship etc any good? Thank you in advance
The queues to disembark and return to cruise ships a lot smaller to these new ones are already to long and slow. You have to book early to see a theatre show and activities like quizzes are impossible to enjoy. My wife and i are now not interested in cruising on such large ships and seek out older smaller ones.
I fully understand that we just had to book our shows on icon over a month away don’t think we have to put might as well get in early, I will keep eye on that on icon ad high light it in my review about ques and how busy things our

@@ShipFacedCruisesNews yeah but same as what rcl did to icon they announced it around 200,000 tons years before and they suddenly said "its bigger than wonder of the seas" :D
One thing I think Royal is missing, is a ship in between Quantum Plus and Oasis class. They had Icon, which was originally designed to be around just over 200,000, which I thought would be perfect to tie in the best from Oasis and Quantum and make it one ultimate ship. They go from a 169,000 ton ship, to a 225,000 ton ship. We need something in the middle, fit for the Uk summer season ☔️
Hello, if you are on a traditional dining you don’t need to book a table for dinner. If you want to do a speciality restaurant You have to go book them at the French restaurant on deck 6, shows you can book on the app and the big screens dotted about. Cost to help save some money definitely look at the fun pass it’s like £70/75 and you get £140 to depend on f1, 4d cinema, bowling and some arcade games your can book that through the website before your sailing. Also booking bowling if your interested they open bookings 10am I think the day before and it books up so if you interested try that. Just double check it’s 10am when you get on board the ship. I'm an Independent Travel Agent, and I completely agree with you I feel like they forget about Southampton, I would love more cruises for fewer nights also, as you say in Miami you can do lots of weekends cruises for not much money
What is up with the tonnage they are showing for ICON 3? Surely it will be just as big as ICON don't you think? What is Star showing to be? I think Legend of the Seas will be great!
I always hire a car for the last day as Virgin flights are always pretty late :( I usually just go around the malls to kill time - leave the bags in car then drop it back off at airport. A one day car hire and one way Uber to airport (to collect it) is way cheaper than a RC excursion (especially if x2) Enjoy the cruises!
Thanks for the advice, but we both don’t drive but have found a solution we booked a day rate at a hotel by the airport so we can have a room and a pool to chill at a refresh before our flight

Celebrity is also dropping prices on extras and also for solo supplement. For my next cruise on Celebrity, I rebooked the drink package upgrade and a two spa appointments and saved almost £200
Hard to believe Disney did that. I understand it’s to preserve a reef or something but there must have been some way to provide wheeled transportation.
I saw a video it took someone 22 minutes not shade in the Caribbean heat would feel very long hopefully they can get some shade on it otherwise that’s a long walk for everyone, I think they offered transportation for just people that could not sure.
