Singapore’s LKY, My Favourite Dictator ! ❤ Bad Habits include Land Grab, Ruthlessly Destroying Not Only Political Adversaries But also Influential Ppl,Families and sometimes even entire Communities . Tragically, Not even one LKY’s Trusted General Bothered/ Dare intervene to rescue his reckless Kids in Lee Family Saga fiasco . More strange, almost ALL LKY’s Trusted Generals hv either Distanced or Declined High Office Appointments after his Passing. Interestingly, Both LKY & Goh Yong Hong ( Ex Comm Of Police, LKY’s known Blue Eyed Boy & henchman , ) passed within Weeks in 2015 , After serious Allegations that incriminate Both were Filed in the Singapore High Court. This is one of the better videos on Singapore and how it succeeded. 4:51 is key - Get the Basics right: Housing, employment, education, healthcare. What the PAP did was to govern with the needs of the people in mind. That is why the PAP has ruled for over 60 years. Other governments lose their mandate to govern simply because they failed to deliver, failed to provide the basics, and failed at the simple job of governing rightly, correctly, and "fixing the basics." There is no secret to the PAP's longevity, and Singapore's success. It is simply the PAP sincerely committing to the welfare of Singaporeans, and the development of Singapore. And delivering! And the people saw that Singapore improved with every year and rewarded the PAP with another term, every General Election. "Rolling out the Red Carpet" (5:14). Singapore was into "Globalisation" before it was even a term. We realised that "import substitution" was not going to work. We realised that MNCs already had a business model , and they could transfer knowledge and technology/technical know-how if they invested in Singapore. And that kickstarted Singapore's development. Singapore then simply needed to stay open to foreign investments and inviting (and welcoming) to foreign capital. Taiwan is the world's leading source of cutting edge semi-conductors. What is their per capita GDP? - about US$33,000. Singapore, which is NOT the leading source of cutting-edge semi-conductors, per capita GDP is US$82,000+. English (8:12). Lee Kuan Yew tells an interesting anecdote. Just after Singapore became independent, a group of Chinese approached him to request that Chinese be made the national language. This, on the face of it, was a reasonable request. After all, about 3/4 of Singapore's population was (and still is) Chinese. Lee shot them down. At the press conference on Singapore's Independence, Lee had already said that Singapore was not going to be a Chinese society, a Malay society, or an Indian society. While Singapore was in the Federation of Malaysia, Lee had championed a "Malaysian Malaysia" in contrast to UMNO's "Malay Malaysia". So Independent Singapore would be a "Singaporean Singapore" - all citizens would be equal. Regardless of race. English was part of this compact. The majority Chinese would "surrender" their language dominance for the sake of social unity and harmony. The other reason to promote English as a working language, was because it opened Singapore to the rest of the world. Even then, Lee was aware of how English would open doors, and minds, and knowledge. Years later (when China had opened up), Lee noted that Chinese-speaking Singaporeans would not be unique. There were over a billion Chinese (as in PRC) speaking Mandarin, and another 25 million Taiwanese speaking Mandarin. And another 7 million Hong Kongers. And Chinese-speaking Singaporeans would be able to do business with them. But the rest of the world? For the rest of the world, English would be more beneficial.

Singapore is nothing but a modern day miracle. Surrounded by hostile muslim neighbours, no natural resources, not much land and not much capital to start with since the Brits took most of Singapore's wealth back with them, Singapore turned from a backwater 3 world country to a modern day miracle in 1 generation solely on the back of sheer will by Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and the tenacity, hardwork and sacrifice of ordinary Singaporeans at that time. Unfortunately this tenacity is lost on some of the younger generation of Singaporeans today who are often pampered, well fed and well taken care of today.

She had a huge fleet of HER OWN that she combined WITH her husband when they married but regardless she's the reason the fleet grew to the size it was 1400 ships about bc she could close any deal was extremely proficient at negotiation tactics so the fleet went from mid 20s to 1400/1500 that's a queen pirate people want to sail for

1. Backwater Britain with 7 million people colonised the richest country on earth that had 180 million people. Imagine if that was actually true? 2. When Britain arrived in India the literacy rate was 3% for men and only 0.6 % for women. It was 12% in Africa and over 50% all across Europe at the time. 3. India had higher wages in 1947 than South Korea, now South Korea's wages are nearly 7 times higher than India.

Akbar the Great was not Great. He did many genocides of Hindu population and converted to islam. Later, things were carried by his descendent. What you told is from the leftist historians fake history. Not the real. You not mentioned the Prithviraj Chouhan, Lalitaditya Muktapid, Chhatrapathi Shivaji Maharaja, the Great Maratha Empire which made Mughal's a puppet. British looted India and made economically backward nation, created fake casteism among Indians, destroyed all Gurukul system by introducing British Education system which was just create more & more slaves and no skills at all, destroyed all Small, Medium and Cottage industries, created rift between society, etc. All these done by British to convert whole population into Christianity. And British legacy was continued by selected first PM Nehru and his family till date. Before leaving the country, they divided the Civilization land into many parts. Today whole world is suffering because of British Christian policies by creating so called Artificial Country Pakistan which produces terrorist and export terrorism to world. If i say that modern worlds first terrorist country is Britain, terrorist person Lord Mountbatten, than Nehru. You just told 0.00001% of history. If you go and dig, you will find history of millennia. When there no cruel religion like Christianity & Islam in this world. World was at peace.

Britain created India from dozens of warring kingdoms who were looting and killing each other. Britain colonized India and gave a lot of infrastructure as you noted. Ruling anyone isn’t a fun thing for those ruled but this is nothing unique to Britain. Ashoka murdered and genocided maybe hundreds of thousands to millions of Indians and wiped out entire tribes and kingdoms. He forcibly converted people to Hinduism or Buddhism and almost totally wiped Kalinga (orissa). The British didn’t fight major wars in India against the kingdoms but exploited the natural conflict by siding with the stronger side and then taking over easily as you now had 2 weakened sides. This is strategy without loss of life. And about 50k British ruled like 300mn Indians for about nearly 3 centuries. I mean they didn’t really impoverish as such. They traded and lived and some became modern Indians just like any other kingdom dynasty in India like pandya or Gupta or nanda etc. they just happened to have diff color skin and language and culture and religion than the normal brown conquerors of Indian kingdoms. That’s all

You left out so much of the history, it’s ridiculous. The Palestinian people are largely descended from the ancient Canaanites and ancient Tribes of Israel. This is well documented in history and backed by multiple genetic studies. Palestinians are the descendants of the people who remained in Canaan over the millennia. They converted to Christianity when it came and many converted to Islam when it came. The land was conquered and administered by the Islamic Empire in the 7th century CE. At that time, there was a gradual shift from using Aramaic to Arabic as the common language. That happened over a period of several centuries. The modern Palestinian identity is very heavily shaped by their struggle for self-determination on their historical homeland. Also, Palestinians are not descended from the ancient Philistines. The Romans called it Palestine, which is what the Greeks called the region centuries before the Romans. Palestinians are the descendants of those whose ancestors lived in Palestine, regardless of religion or ethnicity. There are also minority groups who are also Palestinians. A comment frequently made is that Palestinians should move to other Arab countries. Though Palestinians are an Arabic-Speaking people today, Palestinians are not genetically or ethnically Arab. Among some Palestinians, you may find up to 5-10% Arab genetic markers. The same goes for other non-gulf Middle Eastern countries. The Palestinians originally welcomed the Jews who immigrated to Palestine in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It wasn’t until the Palestinians realized that the Zionists from Europe were wanting to replace the Palestinian population. You also left out the fact that Non-Jewish Palestinians compromised over 95% of the population by the time the first Zionist immigrants settled in Palestine. Jews had only compromised 5% of the total population and largely lived peacefully with their gentile neighbors, especially compared to the anti-semitism that Jews faced in other parts of the world, especially Europe.
