Hi! I can shamelessly say I am a real foodie. Food it's not just a meal to me it's an experience and if you enjoy cooking and learning new recipes then stick around for my at-home recipes on cooking & baking and some hispanic recipes my mom taught me, cause you can't go wrong with trying to cook just like mom.
Spoiler alert if you're in a big hurry, almond flour Burns too quickly don't mess with it. Coconut flour is the way to go. There I saved everyone 10 minutes. Now use that 10 minutes wisely. Call your mom or dad, pet your dog or cat
I tried your recipe at 50% without sugar. Recipe came out great! I used a (Red) Chefman Anti-Overflow Belgian Waffle Maker. A bit surprised by the texture of the almond flour but overall I look forward to using it more often. Thank you for your post, hope to explore your other recipes;)
as a kid i took real pan cakes and syrup for granted . now its too late. i eat one and i will pay the price im 46 n predaibetic take that for granted too
Thanks, y made my Saturday no gluton day a pan cake, as I am trying fir rather Keto diet. Pop came across your lovely easy & 2 diffrent materials for gluten free pancake using 2 diffrent types, which both happened that I have, so I opted 4 almond, used 1 egg & slowly adding my flour to required consistency, & the out come perfect nice & delicious oan cake, garnised with shredded coconut 🥥 & pecans served with sour cream & honey 🍯 just devine & filling almond flour pancake , satisfying thanks & good kuck 4 future patches
I bought almond flour blanched from costco & it was more of a hassle than the one i got from target (Simple Mills Gluten Free Pancake & Waffle Almond Flour Mix). I guess I should’ve watched this first as they are supposed to take longer to cook & be fluffy as i prefer faster & flatter 😅
Absolutely perfect video, Noemi. A class act. You make me proud. Making coconut pancakes now. 👍 I use a standard mix with shredded coconut, and a pure honey syrup. I also use almond milk. Fluffs very well.
Why not corn? Lol idk thats just the way my mom taught me and it always tasted so good I didnt question it lol. You could always leave corn out if you prefer 🤗
Thank you for sharing this comparison, I would like to try both of them and see which one I like most, let’s support our passion for cooking, here is my full support ✅ thanks 🙏 also
I just made almond flour pancakes and they were really good. I agree with everything you said about them. Next time I will try sifting the almond flour like someone said. Thanks!
I made a coconut bread... meh, really bland and once it's in your mouth the texture is similar to mashed potatoes. But I can't have almonds so it's better than nothing.
I love the almond flour pancakes..To get rid of the grainy texture sift the almond flour. I always keep a container of sifted almond flour available at all times.. When ever I’m baking with almond flour sifting is the key😋 Give it a try I think you will love the results😋
