I teach things about editing while I film things about editing about film.

terrible product. The recent update they made ruined it. All the voices you hear dont sound the same and are more robotic. I can't even match the voices on current projects from the previous models. They completely trashed their voice catalog. For those who havent subscribed. You dodge a bullet.
@@obryn really?! I’ve been using it at work lately, and I find it’s pretty consistent. Still a bit buggy, as most AI things are, but I haven’t had this problem. Do you have examples that you’ve posted? I definitely don’t want to share something that isn’t good.
I regret to say that Artlist's AI Voiceover Generator is no longer worth the subscription. My experience with the service has significantly deteriorated following a recent update: Initial Satisfaction. Upon subscribing, I was extremely pleased with the results. The quality and versatility of the AI-generated voices met my project needs perfectly. Drastic Decline: Approximately one month after my subscription began, Artlist updated their website. This update has caused numerous issues: - The user interface has become confusing and difficult to navigate. - Voice quality has noticeably decreased. - The voices themselves have changed, losing the characteristics that made them valuable for my work. Project Disruption: Due to these changes, I've been forced to halt a project that relied heavily on a voice called "Wit". The inconsistency in voice output has rendered my previous work unusable. Lack of Customer Consideration**: It's disappointing to see a company implement such drastic changes without apparent consideration for their existing clients and ongoing projects. In conclusion, what started as a promising service has become a source of frustration and wasted resources. I urge Artlist to reconsider these changes and prioritize the consistency and quality that initially made their service valuable. To potential subscribers: I advise caution before committing to this service, as the quality and consistency of the product appear to be unreliable.SO, Unsubcribed here!
@@OdalysPov well, the effect is definitely an intense one on everyone’s computer. Regardless of what it is. But I have 32 gb of ram which definitely helps. And I have the M1 Mac from 2021. It definitely needs to be upgraded, but overall, the ram plays a small part in the exporting process. So you and I are quite similar in our specs.. unfortunately, uses a very extensive encoding process because it has to be rendered on each frame. And there’s a lot of math happening to the limit and values that it is effecting. Hope this helps.
I applaud the creativity in finding an insane workaround for a 1 click effect in Resolve. It really is mind boggling in terms of how adobe develops Premiere.
What Picture Profile do you think she starts out with - S-Log, S-Cinetone or RAW? Also another young lady produces a beautiful grading effect from Resolve, albeit a bit brighter and more lifelike here... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S0NhkyT2Qw8.html Both have a rich film look!
@@alventures97 no. I would say don’t be afraid to use after effects when you’re finding something doesn’t work well in premiere. Do what works best for your workflow and give both of them a try, just don’t be afraid to use other software. That’s how I was, and I regret it. So now I make sure I use the best tool for the job. Hope this helps and best of luck.
HEY GUYS! THE FILM EMULATION PRESET ON MY GUMROAD USED TO BE $1 but I’ve since made it free; IF YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD IT HIT THE TOP LINK IN THE DESCRIPTION
if you're going to try an effect as extreme as this, i recommend shooting with a much faster shutter speed. the motion blur of a slower shutter speed is not going to compliment this type of edit as well.
I like your take on it, though I would argue that more motion blur, as in a lower shutter speed like 24, gives it a more authentic feeling than higher speeds, like if I originally shot at 60. Especially since it would hardly make a difference once we change the sequence to 15! But I understand why you say this, since we, of course, don’t want it toooo choppy looking. Experimentation and trial and error always are the best tools for dialing in different settings on these extensive effects! Thanks for your ideas and for watching the video!
@@Trentorials yeah I didn’t even understand my question either lol. So you put this effect on an ajustement layer? And I can drag how much the effect will work?
Yes. Just drop in on an adjustment layer. And then with the overlay just nest and duplicate that clip for the length you need then extend the nested sequence to length back in your original one
@Trentorials actually i have win 11 pro and i5 10 gen not so good and gtx 1650 it let me install but not work smoothly because of my graphics card it was just in sarcastic way
awesome dude, but how do we get the look of your "normal" recording such as the one used when you are just talking to the camera in this videos. Gives really nostalgic look as well
Yo! Super helpful video. I created a preset a few months ago and recently noticed it was gone (and actually the whole obsolete folder was gone). I found another video that someone made who exported the obsolete effects for people to import, and was able to get the Obsolete effects back to recreate the preset. I think it happened in PP 24.6.
Thank you for the tutorial. I'm not sure I understand though, how do you introduce the second clip coming in from the right in the second case? Do you have the two videos playing simultaneously on different tracks of your timeline?
Hey trent, I just wanted to say that ever since I started my first semester as a digital media major in college, your videos have helped me so much with understanding premierepro. I would look back at your older videos just to increase my knowledge on it and overall I just love the vibes of your videos. Thank you for the big help always and I hope you continue to keep making these videos as they're really helpful <3
Thanx for the video. 1 question. Same aspect ratio for vertical videos 9:16 is not covering the entire screen. I filmed on 4:3 and 16:9 both aspect ratio and then edited to 9:16 still It doesn't cover the entire screen. Im filming on dji osmo action 5 pro. What should i do to get a video that covers the entire phone screen vertically?
Well, a 16x9 aspect ratio doesn’t cover the full screen: that’s why the aspect ratio in this video was chosen! So vertical or horizontal, the aspect ratio I talk about covers most smartphone screens fully now.
