Saw them 3 days after this at The Strand in Providence. Quicksand and White Zombie were openers (although Quicksand had to cancel that night). Still one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Bruh, not sure how this popped up on my feed, but FUUUUUK!!! This was my first show on my 16th birthday. Quicksand and White Zombie opened. I ran into the pit for Caught in a Mosh. This here is about Metal, but man the old Hardcore memories are flooding back🤘🏻🤙🏻🔥🔥🔥
I was at this show!I have White Zombie's set from this show, but need a copy of the Anthrax set.Is there a chance I could get a dvd copy, or a download?
Was my 16th birthday, first show, and first time I shaved my head that morning and I was rocking a Slayer tank top. There was an at least 12 head sesh in the back before we got in. The good ole days!!!
Wow, I've never seen footage of this lineup before. Guitar Shop is not amongst my favorite Jeff Beck albums, but this makes me like it a whole lot more.
The pioneering of the music that needed to be communicated at that time with the energy and intelligence for the fans is unmatched until this very day!

...I saw "the Jeff Beck Group circa 1970 at Detroit's Cobo Arena - Great... TH' about 1989... probably,... as a favor to a nephew who could not get a date this show... & I'm talk's about , who needs a singer.. as an artistically sucessful but financially failed guitar showman / singer here in 2024, I am awestruck to hear this again... and I thank you!....
Metallica could only hope to write songs as good as this in my opinion. James and his ilk were made for mainstream radio and that’s no compliment in my world.
I saw Mackie play with Bad Brains in the mid 90s, closest I came to seeing Cromags. Rise tour with Prong and Static X. Also saw the HR Bad Brains show where he nailed down a skinhead with bottom end of a mic stand and was arrested. They weren't racist skins but they still wanted to beat him up.

I remember cro mags without jon played in the late 90's in sf. Harley could barely remember the lyrics he was so doped out. Ton of old heads wanted to smash him real bad over some shit he did that fucked a bunch of people over involving dope deals i think. He bitched out in the back and wouldn't face anyone. Had security protect him till everyone left after the show was over. Cro mags is nothing without jon.
This was a great show! The recording from WDST is amazing as well. I have a different view w/ my recoring and Weiss another. Would be cool to merge different angles!
