I hate bike companies. 5'8" is the average male height worldwide, but when someone figures out how to make their bike a little lower, they call it a Ladies bike. Idiotic. And the bike is low because it has pricey options installed! How did we get by years ago riding bikes like DT250, honda xl200 (what I ride now mostly), and every other enduro type bike from yesteryear?? Steve McQueen and malcolm Smith didn't need ladders to get on their awesome bikes in On Any Sunday did they?? Maybe the only damn bikes one can find today (only used) is maybe the XT225 and super sherpa that is anything like the great older bikes! And they dropped those too after a short time!! IF you travel to europe or asia you see so many variations on the basic simple enduros and in the usa we get almost nothing. It's pathetic really. When I hear of a cool sounding bike, like Betas 125 rr's street legal (here in the USA), of course, you quickly find out that they barely import any at all!! OR Beta dealers tell you They said there going to soon, but soon ain't soon at all. The Beta seems like it might be a great bike for so many people, but it ain't here and if you happen to get one somehow, parts for it probably take forever to get here from Italy. I just waited a very long time for beta parts from italy. Yes, Hona makes that Ugly as all hell thing which is a 150cc. Who approves the design of these monstrosities anyway? Did everyone die who knew Anything about classic design? I just don't get it. If yamaha made the DT250 again, with disc brakes, would there really be no market?? uggh.
Where do I buy the Husqvarna gear you’re wearing? My Husqvarna dealer doesn’t sell it and when I find the gear online, I only see a part number with no option to buy. It seems like Husqvarna is mismanaged.
The people who shoot and edit this video made me fall in love with HUSQVARNA they made the bikes look super cool, from the start to the end Great work Rob.
Epic ride and video production. I live in Tassie and this stirred my need to do some of these rides. The Huskies seemed to handle the conditions very well.... a little better than the BMWs when they did their Tassie trek 😂. Well done Husqvarna...
Can't help but notice that most people are over 60 or at least over 50. Just take a look at the 4:44 mark on the video. It's not just in this video but most adventure bike riders tend to be old. I wonder why this is? It cannot be good for motorcycling.
Bikes are expensive in modern times, Even if you can buy one the insurance is also high..... So if you are young and can manage to get an adventure bike then you are probably not wanting to wreck it by having a few days of off roading. The older guys generally have the wealth and cashing in pensions.. Its all about fun and enjoying the life left!! with the attitude of who cares if you send the bike down a ditch.. Its fun! (just my guess of course). And not forget the fact its probably all in a couple thousand dollars for the event at least
This is a massive problem! Most of my friends had motorcycles when I was young, but my son only have one friend with a motorcycle license and they know each other from the local motocross club…
If anyone likes the look of the scenery, but can’t afford to get to Australia then come to Portugal. It’s not as good, obviously… but it’s fucking close ! Oh and you have none of those vile Australian rules and police to spoil your day. The police here are nice and fair.
