Bravo, per la volontà ☺️ma in effetti sottoscrivo i consigli già dati da altri utenti più esperti di me e cioè: documentarsi e fare assolutamente i due tipi di doppietta per le cambiate, a seconda che siano scalate ascendenti o discendenti, troppe grattate, non è un cambio sincronizzato che ammette disinvoltura moderna…mettere “ogni tanto” anche la IV, non è opzionale…e direi, quando si rallenta fino a fermarsi, scalare le marce (con la doppietta giusta) e usare il motore come freno, non andare per inerzia per poi sfruttare solo i freni…Consiglio appassionato ☺️ chi ne sa di più mi corregga se sbaglio 😊
Oh my 😍!! I owned a '96 328i, 5 speed and sold it when I needed more of an outdoorsy SUV....I regret that decision more times than I'd care to admit. This looks incredible...not a fan of tan interiors but I think I'd be able to quickly get over it...just listen to that engine :-)
Iv got a red 1982 Z28 Camaro that looks very similar to this one except for mine has probably 3 times the horsepower it’s cammed and has chrome headers and a lot of high performance parts in the engine plus it roars like a beast with the cannons for exhaust tips and the racing Flow Master 10’s for an exhaust I have
I've had an Alfasud and a Spider. Never had any reliability problems with them, and Alfas from that era are some of the best-sounding cars ever made. The Alfasud unfortunately was built to rust away, and the Spider was not a real sports car - more a tourer. But I enjoyed every minute driving them all over Europe.
Why is such a large, OHC engine, so low on HP and torque? I am confused, this looked like such an impressive engine, I was expecting 6 or 7 hundred of both.
seeing as it's built in the 1950's, and is either 2.8 or 3.2 litre, that's not a bad output. Todays 6.0 V8's get the numbers you are expecting. Just. This is over 70 years old. I say it did ok.
@@leuvenlife The first 4 cylinder super bike, was built in 1934, 600cc and it was supercharged. It just seems it should make more, just my humble opinion.
@@bobbyduke777 It was a race bike. Race engines can make big power for a short time. This is a road car, designed to last, be reliable and tractable. It isn't so amazing. The big american V8's of the same period were also pretty low powered, especially considering that a 7 litre engine in a factory car could at best about 350 to 400 hp. !although most were around 250..) Double the capacity of this little V8, and just about double the power. There was a supercharged version of this tiny V8 that could push about 350bhp.. Even in the eighties, 60bhp per litre was the norm. for most road cars and 85 for motorcycle engines. Even a Ford Cosworth DFV was only 400 bhp back in the 60's and 70's and that was an F1 engine.
Honey, you're driving a classic Rolls Royce. Shouldn't your hair be at least, pulled back with a bow or something? Aside from that, this is a rather pleasant drive, I'm sure. I wonder, dear, are we in California? I wouldn't mind looking over to the right every now & then, but for some odd reason, the cameraman is fixated on you, the girl with the messy hair blowing wildly in her face.

I love these cars... but I have 2011 Genesis with a 4.6 V8 and 385 HP, it would be difficult to transition back to something so slow. These put out like 190 HP in '84?
you can downshift them. Easier to replace brakes than a clutch or trans In town I slow down in gear then pop it in N .Then 2nd before going back into 1st when the lights green. At higher speeds N is foolish you have little control over the car
