@@lrdcly1 hi, I just bought this model from Japan last week. The 30th anniversary edition. And I plan to build it this weekend. I'm a newbie. Can you tell me everything I need to build it? The tools and glue or anything. Thank you
@@adhiwirayasa6615 Hi! Here's some basic tools that you will need Side cutter Tweezers File/sandpaper Paint brush Air brush Paints Cement - I use tamiya extra thin and the regular cement Happy modeling!
I'm curious of the side skirts holes on your Evo Vi kit as those are for the WRC type to use with side lift. I have both WRC and normal one and the same kit as yours don't have the holes at the side skirts. Strage enough. Good video and clean build, well done👍
Beautiful work. It would be great if you indicated the paints you use while doing this. What do you use for the orange base? What about clear 2K? I'm still trying to get a mirror polished surface without sanding and polishing. Thank you.
Thank you! I used a lacquer based hobby paint that i think is only available here in our country. Clear is 2k. I spray 1 mist coat and 2-3 wet coats with 4-5minutes interval in between, 80% overlap. Make sure the edges are wet.
@@lrdcly1 Okay! But can you tell me what brand and product of clear 2K you use and how? Your airbrush model? I ask you this to try to have the same conditions for the best results. Something in my technique always causes me to have orange peel. Thank you.
@@lucamicalicapparelli4825 its an automotive hi build 2k clear that is only available here. my airbrush is a tamiya HG with .3 nozzle, working pressure at around 25-30 psi.
doing so does not build anything: it is also a way to develop manual skills. then there are various aspects that concern the features that are not very visible otherwise without a construction process
Se non sei in grado (per tua frustrazione) di poter effettuare una creazione del genere astieniti dal scrivere questi commenti e soprattutto un consiglio da modellista: evita i video per per modellisti!!! Guardati i cartoni animati 😅
Amazing looking kit. All that carbon fiber... I think that is what holds me off from doing stuff like this. Just trying to put on all those decals doesn't look that fun. 😅 Amazing work on a very complicated kit.
