So many gorgeous views!!!!! Thank you for sharing!! The country colors are glorious!! The effect of the colors on everything during sunrise and sunset are stupendous!!! Omg hiking in that snow storm!!
Please tell me the name of the song you played during the part where the couple drove you up to look at the sierras!!! Lyrics said, “the time that i have is no time to waste…” I tried so hard to find it and can’t find it anywhere. Did you guys write it?! We’re watching this doc with our kids so they buy into wanting to hike the Oregon section of the PCT. Love how real and vulnerable you guys are! I’ve watched the first 1/3 of your PNT project and man you had me in tears a few times already. Great work!!!
It's very rare that I leave comments under a video. But now I have to. It was only two weeks ago that I saw an episode of criminal minds and they mentioned the AT. And now I felt into a deep rabbit hole. I already read a book about the PCT. binchwatched many many videos and stumbled across your film. One of the best I've ever seen. To think about that it is nearly 10 years old ... The most beautiful photographs of the PCT and a excellent videocut. I love it. Thanks a lot for this piece of art
@DUSTYCAMEL I WANTED TO TELL U MADE IT THROUGH bc THE PRAYERS YOUR FAMILY HAD FOR U GUYS AS U HIKED 2, 600 MILES THROUGH THICK & THIN. I return to this video over and over again. Thank you for putting your efforts into making such an impactful and beautiful travel documentary of your adventure.
This documentary had a very real and strong influence in us leaving everything behind in search for more. Part of my soul is still on the PCT, and you gentlemen have a role in that. For this, I thank you.
What a profoundly life affirming, uplifting, charming and engaging film. A watching experience just full of beauty - in the landscapes, the experiences and also the characters of all the wonderful people encountered. A great joy, soulfulness and education to watch. Thanks so much for sharing.
I can’t believe this has been 8 years since it’s original post! I remember watching when it first came out! I was stationed in 29 palms California, relating to the hot, dry landscapes of New Mexico, and dreaming of going to Yosemite with some friends lmao. Never made it. But, this video has!
The beauty reminds us there must be a god of some sort of something bigger than us. Wouldn’t it be nice of all the world got along and treated each other as if it was on big PCT hike
Thanks! The seasonal restaurants, lodges and amenities were closed for winter. Thanks for watching! Check out our latest series, releasing now! ru-vid.com/group/PLKQDc7PEmya_59kCABRO-PeYtff82NVJN
Cinematography and editing are obviously top-notch, but not enough is being said about the music. It fits the doc perfectly and is so beautiful and inspiring!
Beautiful movie documentary, cool, fun, and touching, pure inspiration, I felt like I was there with you all! So thank you for sharing. <3 Greetings from Italy! Fulvio
I’ve watched this about 15 times this past year. I’m just gonna sell some things and do exactly like Ian and yourself. I don’t know if you inspired a lot of people but y’all definitely inspired one. Thank you guys for making this video.
"I feel nostalgia for the memories we never had" [cinematic youth-peach tinted] is how this video makes me feel! thanks for sharing your journey - it's my go-to watch for PCT doc. music is incredbile too.
I encountered a rattlesnake that didn't bother to notify me with its rattle. It had draped itself across the trail and I didn't see it until about 6 feet away. It remained completely motionless until I finally got a long stick and tried to gently poke it to see if it was even alive. Before I could touch it it hissed and slithered away. I wonder what would have happened had I not seen it. It was a full-sized snake.
