Hello, I'm from Brazil and I always follow your videos, they are excellent and help me a lot. I'm starting with ACC, I would like to know which car would you recommend?
I have always enjoyed driving the Nissan. Of course it is an older car and really it's too bad that Nissan does not update the GT3 car with like an EVO version or something. It is still capable of winning in ACC. My videos from season 12 with Jon Saunders running the GTR would show that it can win anywhere. Plus he won the Championship with it. 🙂👍
Great video @sky194, been getting into the evo2 recently because of Porsche fatigue. Been taking my sweet time trying to understand the car's quirks and this video has given really great insights!
Love what you do for ACC content, I hope you put a ton of content into AC Evo. I really think AC Evo will push your channel up there as it will be new content.
Hi Steve. Do you use a base setup for all of the cars you drive and adjust to the track or are you just using the default setups in ACC and adjusting those to your liking, track by track? I find myself lost, most of the time, trying to build a setup for a car, in ACC.
Congrats, On a Roll Steve! Hopkins had an early bobble of some type... maybe Sutherland was pressuring him a lot too! Sutherland lucked out with passes late, and followed you through. But Great Job hanging on!

At times it is frustrating, but it is for both drivers at tight tracks like LS. I really think some drivers make it more complicated then it really is.
Another Great Race, Steve! Q1-PB 1.59's... Congrats! Saunders had some kind of bobble on lap 16 that gave you extra cushion for traffic... P1. PS- You lapped all but 4 drivers! :)
Fantastic Race, Steve! Q1 and then you pulled away and dominated. Not sure what happened to Paupov & Bird, but they eventually fell way back. Comfortable Win, Congrats!
Good race Steve! 1 place above qualifying is a win. Thought you might catch Santos, but not to be. May have had a better shot if not for slight bobble in pit. :)
Congrats Steve! Murray had some kind of off or upset before corkscrew on lap 9 that gave you some extra cushion. Laguna and Kyalami are my 2 best tracks, but you're still a bit over 1sec. faster than I am in the 296 at Laguna. But in my defense, I still only use right foot for both throttle and brake. Unfortunately, I'm not as stong at some other tracks. :)
Good race, Steve, but I was a little leery when you entered the chicane before crash....I thought you may have braked a touch late. Bummer John low on fuel, but Congrats on 3rd! Love Laguna Seca... Will check race next wk. :)
Those dang chicanes are a curse. I was on 3 track warnings with 6 or 7 laps to go. I got all mine at the 2nd one. You'd think I would learn from my mistakes. You had great pace and I wasn't sure if I could hold on for 2nd place. Jon gifted me the Win - I think I had everyone else's luck last night. Can't wait for Laguna!!
Hello! I think this sim has a problem, and that's called FFB!!! a car that you just don't feel, or don't feel right.Plus an exaggerated "The tires are cold, drive slower." Nonsense... I'm old enough to know what a car feels like, even under extreme conditions.As long as my CSL DD only reproduces bumps extensively, this sim has an extreme problem. Tinkering with setups every hour unfortunately doesn't help because you don't feel any big differences.and to avoid the cold tires you then drive an unrealistic toe in...often 50-60-70 which can't be right. but it helps in the first 2-3 laps. as it is now I feel like I'm going through an overpriced one seasonpass “teased”.Do your homework first and then collect big money, not the other way around. That's why I don't feel like playing this sim at the moment. LG Lupo! P.S.: Hopefully that didn't sound too pissed off, but they still have a hell of a lot of work to do... and time is a factor in this business and a project like this will quickly be dropped.👋
This game is a spinoff from rF2, using its game engine, physic engine, and most of its structure in the folders even. Half of its current assets are rehashed from rF2 as well (5 tracks are just ported over, all GTE, LMP2 and 2 Hypercars). It is mind blowing that they could not get LMU much further in the past 5 months of early access, I mean a replay mode was praised for being included in the game in June. A replay. Mode. Performance is still terrible, there is no mid-season save for offline player, no player coop switch in online, the ranking system mostly focus only on 25 min spirnt race (rendering the only feature that makes LMU different to all existing sim, namely the virtual energy management, completly plointless), the graphic engine, while producing nice still image, is such a dreadful downgrade in motion (it behaves like rF1/AMS1 engine, loading lower res object way too close to you, just have a 499P in front of you and look at bits of car disappearing even at 5m distance in ultra settings...) and let's not talk about loading time or hafl the feature still in config files from rF2 but not working at all... Geesh, I could continue the list forever, this game has to come so far before being anything deemed worth a buy for 70+ bucks in a year time... Yeah I know it is early access, and you can try to hide all issues behind it, but it is not a brand new game built from the ground up, just a rF2 spinoff using its game engines with worse performances and less functionalities... How ?!
It was nice to get your opinion on LMU and some comparisons to ACC! LMU does look promising and seems to have a lot of potential. Have you tried the rennsport open beta yet I would be curious what you think? Personally I would like to see you review all the sim racing titles lol
