As filmmakers we can make the world we see come to life for others to enjoy and learn from. As people we can do the same for the world we wish we could have and pass on for others to build from. To me that future looks like free education, meaningful stories, community."
Nice use of a 3d track, though the wall texture is in a weird spot and is kind of floating. The intersection between the floor texture and the wall texture does not match with the real intersection between the all and the floor. The textures should be further away and a little higher
Thanks! And yes it's good to spend time tweaking those details to get them perfect but for the sake of the tutorial I was pretty fast in those steps. Thanks for watching!
You might choose a different font for the thumbnail… I might have read the thumbnail as “bad camera tracking”… to be fair it got me to click the video but just thought it’s worth letting you know lol
Great video Kris. This is very timely... I'm getting ready to release a big new product with my guitar company... I'm going to make sure I hit all the items on your checklist.
As a huge fan that seen you during your prime I suggest you to upload more about how to film with cheap equipment and get the best results, this will help a lot to get back to the place you really belong to bro , much love and respect and I hope you can refresh your channel again
Thanks for sticking around and continuing to watch! There is always a place in my heart for content like that and there are some videos coming up on that
Great to see you back with another video Kris! Thanks for sharing some of the details on the tools you used for Supernova. You talked about the vintage lenses and it reminded me, I've been using some of you vintage lens effects from your pack. Really coming in handy! Thanks again!
Kris this was a great insight - idk if you have any more of this kind of content planned but hearing you free flow talk about your experiences with making this film, the drawbacks, the workarounds, the creative choices is super interesting. I myself am starting to dip my toe into doing these kinds of projects so its great whenever someone I'm subbed to shares such valuable experiences.
Hey! I'm happy you liked it! I have to say I felt a change in tone too and I really like this more chill approach. My goal is to have the channel represent a video diary of my journey as a filmmaker. Definitely more like this coming! Thank you for watching!
What a GREAT come back video! Love Supernova and love how new technology/software tools helped you finalize your short film. Love the new style of the video too. Looking forward to seeing more videos :)
