Hey man, I recently found your channel through your CH2K8 guide. My laptop can’t handle the PS3 emulator, but the PS2 one works fine. I didn’t grow up playing college sports games, but I’m really into those with deep management and coaching in legacy mode. Besides CH2K8, what other games would you recommend, especially for football, baseball, or basketball?
Yo! Thanks for tapping in with me! Hmm, that's a good question. Here is what I'd say: Football - on the PS2 Emulator, check out NCAA Football 06 Basketball - CH2k8 should be on the PS2 as well, if not, CH2K7 definitely is. Baseball - MVP 07 or 06. But for MLB, I'd recommend OOTP on the PC (it is by far the best i n my opinion). Hope this helps! Let me know what you end up trying and liking. Take care!
Yeah, CH2K8 is on PS2, but it has a lot of glitches and lacks many features the PS3 version has, especially in Legacy Mode. I’ll definitely try out those games, thanks a lot! You’ve got a new subscriber from Mexico.
Also, on PS2 emulator, don't sleep on NHL 2k8 as well...I play the PS3 version on the channel, but I think it's a decent hockey game even if you're not into hockey that much...there are several games that I've played and have grown to love the sport as a result...soccer and hockey are the main two!

You can pull a horse out of the race by clicking the form guide symbol to the right of the horse status on the stable/home menu screen. Or by clicking the enter races tab which is the third tab from the left hand side. Once you get into that screen, click on the horse then click on declarations then remove horse.
Much appreciated. Yea, I mostly only play CPU vs CPU and don't/use custom plays...do a quick search online and you should be able to find something on how to use the custom playbooks in the game. Thanks for watching!

Yo! Beyond appreciated! I have thought about it (re: weekly frequency) but the reason that I haven't done it *yet* are: 1) all the other series that I currently juggle on the channel (along with work). I have a wide range of interest a number of different games - just not enough time in the day and space on the hard drive. 2) I record in batches to help maintain consistency, stay ahead of the schedule, and try to avoid burnout...with the other series on the channel, they're all done by season, but this one is the only one that's on-going, so to speak...Although there are "season" in the game (each year is technically a "season") I don't release by season. With the other series, I'll play and record and entire season and then release weekly on YT - but again, this one is on-going in how I present it. Anyway, all of that long drawn out to say, I'll reconsider a bit later down the line when i have more time. But, I really, really appreciate you for rockin' with the channel and for the feedback! It's such an underrated game! If you have a computer, I HIGHLY recommend obtaining the PS2 (and PS3) emulator(s). I can't live without them at this point!

Nice work, great series! Think much better breeding Sprinters with Sprinters and Long Distance with Long Distance. Trying to mix the two, I've seemed to end up with an average in-between horse, that can't do either well. For Sprinters, I'm willing to ignore stamina and focus on raw Speed, Starting & Extra Speed 80%+ (try to look at Mare & Stallion with record course times & like to lead). Long Distance will focus on Stamina and Cruising Burst 50%+ (for the kick at the end when all other horses are tiring). Like the other comment - just need to be more patient with stayers compared to sprinters as they take longer to mature. Will be poor in their 2 year old season, bit better at 3 but will improve by 4-5 year old. I have sold a few at 2 years old, only for them to end up being champion horses 🤦♂
Yes! You both are absolutely correct. I record these episodes in advance, but there is going to be a point where I realize that this happens. I forget some of the parts of this game because I'll play it a lot and then I'll go really long stretches without playing it all and I forget certain aspects because this game is sooooo detailed and nuanced.
