We'll see ads occasionally whether you're monetized or not, youtube still wants/needs to make money on videos. so you might as well monetize and get your cut of the pie.
Great video idea! It’s more of a preference for me since I can store a lot of value in cards and they can all fit in a few binders but I would need a whole room or more for a sealed collection of the amount I want to get too plus I don’t like shopping sealed stuff lol it takes from the profit
math is a bit wrong. If you paid 60% for these cards you paid it on the top number. So you 'paid' 5100ish for these cards and ended up with 6316. So you made 1200 that month.
@@CollectingCommunity no but like, lets say you buy 10,000 worth of cards for 6k. you sell for 10k on tcgplayer or ebay. tcgplayer alone takes you down to 8700 and thats not with any shipping or expenses. so you would have only made 2700 on 10k even if you didnt have to ship or package anything. Get it? You can't apply the percent at the end. You might not be making as much as you thought if you were using this to figure it out. :( its a tough gig, realistically to get a decent salary by selling cards on ebay or tcgplayer you'd have to be doing like 400k + in sales a year. I run the same operation as you and my end of year profit was 12k on 100k of revenue.
It’s hard to calculate that part but most of the cards were sold via tcgplayer direct so the shipping per cards comes out to 1 cent for me since I send it all back in one package to tcgplayer
