Yes, but actually the other way, kizomba sounds like zouk. :) The Caribbean zouk rhythm became very popular all over the PALOP countries after the zouk band Kassav went for a tour in Angola. And boom! The originally soft and melodic genres, kizomba and Cabo zouk were born. Later, producers (mostly in Portugal) created the electronic urban genre versions: ghetto zouk and tarraxinha/tarrax@... Meanwhile, these went back to Brazil over the internet where they danced zouk to them of course. The lost son came back home without knowing. And somewhere along the Europe tour zouk bass, the cousin was born. OMG, musical history of zouk/kizomba is like a latino soap opera! :DDD
Hi Johny! You are right, this is the original song. Recently, on top of my remixes, I started to share my collection of zoukables on the channel. This black & wavy design is for originals. For remixes, I will use a different design, so that you all can recognize which one is which one. :) Also the title helps to decide. New remix videos coming soon. ;)
