Moved into a new house last year that's got one of these installed. Never understood what it's for until now. Doesn't sound like the landlord does either because he's put it behind a door so whenever you open it, the iPad would fall off.
Am I dumb or am I a genius? What if you cut your Rgb-Strip and leave the rest that is in the roll over? Can you use the rest for an other place like the TV or do you have to buy a new Strip? It's very confusing I know...
