Thanks Al. It’s been a long time since this video was done and yours is the first feedback that I’ve received about it. NDEG is pretty much history but links between some members and a sister group in the Vancouver, BC, still open. I moved to the Bay Area (Walnut Creek) about 10 years ago and my dive gear is truly historical at this point and on prominent display in our home. The Northwest area was a fertile ground for actively pursuing this interest that the Bay Area doesn’t seem to be… I was interested to see that you are a Johnsen. We are relatively few… My grandfather Johnsen was the adopted by the Johnsen family in Las Vegas, New Mexico, in the late 1800s, and later moved on to California. Anyway, that’s how I came by the name in a nutshell…
