The way this dal was put forward in just 3 min. Was just vow. This is how it has to be shown. Not by telling granny stories and then making a 3 min video into 30 min. So wonderful receipe and i would like and suscribe this. Thankyou.
Essa comida é muito famosa aqui no Brasil. Ela se chama "galinhada". Mas aqui a gente prepara o frango e cozinha o arroz direto no frango até a água secar.
I don't understand why people are commenting over "beef." it's ok. I know most of us, we can not even think about having beef, but I know few people who do like having beef, but it doesn't mean we will start hating them. It's their choice of having beef or pork or anything or even becoming a vegetarian. In this case, they have clearly mentioned "Beef or Mutton." Either you cook mutton or you cook beef it's your choice, I don't understand why people are going crazy about the fact that they have mentioned beef? Or unsubscribing just because they have mentioned beef ? This is rubbish, to be honest. The recipe was amazing ( I made mutton kalia ) . Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. Love from Australia 🇦🇺 🇮🇳
I didn't say anything about hating others. I just have a recommendation. As a long time viewer can't I even give my own view. What if one of your most loved channels start cooking centipedes which many people like but you feel disgusting and just share your view, would that be bad.
How Petty & Infantile some viewers are!!! 😂. Seriously! You guys are calling the lady out for mentioning the word beef?? Instead of appreciating the simple ingredients, ease of preparation . Boy! People are so sensitive! I even saw a comment where the person announced they would unsubscribe cos of this! 😂( btw I too don't eat beef either)
Absolutely! Coconut milk is a great substitute for both milk and yogurt in curry recipes. It will add a rich, creamy texture and a slightly sweet, tropical flavor that pairs well with the spices. Using coconut milk can also make the dish more aromatic and give it a distinctively South Asian twist. Enjoy your cooking with this substitution, and we hope you love how it turns out! 😊
Was it really necessary to mention beef. I know one should be tolerant towards other cultures but at the same time it's also important to be respectful towards the culture that most people (e.g. Hindus) follow here. Just like pork would never be tolerated in middle eastern Muslim countries and one should avoid showcasing such foods there out of respect for people living there, so why not here. Please don't hate this comment, and I hope the channel pay importance to this aspect from next videos. Thanks and I love your channel 💕, not gonna unsubscribe for just this silly incident. 😄 Edit: I didn't know about the Bangladeshi origin of this channel (part of the reason I make the faulty assumption of this channel being Indian is that I never watched them mention beef in videos I've seen so far) as I make that clear in my replies under this comment. Also this comment is just a viewpoint/opinion of one out of their millions of their subscribers straight to the channel, you don't have to get disturbed or agitated at it. Enjoy whatever you eat. ❤️ from 🇮🇳 and thanks for all of them who supported my comment by liking it.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment. We truly appreciate your feedback and your understanding. We always strive to respect cultural sensitivities, which is why we did not mention the specific type of meat in the title of our video, keeping in mind that it might be sensitive for some of our non-Muslim viewers. In the video, we mentioned options like beef or mutton and deliberately did not include pork, as the flavor profile for pork would require adjustments that don't align with this particular recipe. We are committed to being considerate and inclusive in our content, aiming to cater to a diverse audience with various dietary preferences and cultural practices. Your insights help us serve all our followers better, and we're grateful for your continued support and love for our channel. Thank you for being a part of our community, and we look forward to bringing you more enjoyable and respectful content. 😊
Most people follow where? In India? Maybe you are not aware that it is not an Indian channel. The makers of this channel are Bangladeshi-Canadian origin. Beef is widely consumed in Bangladesh and as well as in most countries in the world. I do not think they have done any mistake by mentioning beef. I do understand your sentiment but they have mentioned both mutton and beef. If It was a European or American recipe channel making the same dish would you have written the same thing? Rather than raising objection to the choice of meat, you should focus more on the way of cooking. Then you can make the same dish with the meat you prefer.
Cooking isn't restricted by any race or religious beliefs, I watch cooking channels who sometimes cook pork and I just skip those cooking videos so just skip the video that shows beef or mentions it if you're too sensitive
@swarnendu The owners of this channel are Bangladeshis but live in Canada if I am not wrong. Bangladeshis had to convert to Islam hundreds of years ago and eat beef so it’s expected for this channel to mention that. I personally am Hindu and don’t eat beef as I respect cows. But I can’t expect that from someone who doesn’t follow my Dharma. Plus this channel has a wider reach and is not regional only. Hope you understand where I am coming from.
That sounds fantastic! With 3 kg of beef, you're in for a treat. Enjoy your cooking, and we hope it turns out as delicious as you're anticipating. Let us know how it goes! 😊
Looks Yum! May I know what Alubhukara is? Never seen it here in Kerala. Also I am allergic to nuts. So if I don't add Alubhukara & nut paste - Will it affect the taste of the curry?
Thank you! Alubukhara is dried plums, which add a slight tangy and sweet flavor to dishes. If you haven't seen them in Kerala, you might find them labeled as prunes in some stores. If you're allergic to nuts, it's absolutely fine to omit the nut paste. As for the Alubukhara, while they do add a unique flavor, leaving them out won't drastically change the essence of the curry. You could substitute with a bit of tamarind paste for a similar tangy effect. The curry will still be delicious with these adjustments! Enjoy cooking, and let us know how your version turns out. 😊
