It was a huge mistake for Nio to venture into Europe, an anti-China bastion without being profitable first in China. Nio will be eating Testla, Li Auto, BYD and all other non-swappable battery car brands for lunch after this Thursday, when Nio starts delivery of Onvo cars.
I don’t think it was unwise for NIO to venture into Europe, it was the right decision, however the fact that they chose not to build a factory in Europe earlier means that it was a great mistake of underestimation of future geopolitical policy that are now hindering Chinese car brands

Truthfully I’m only now finding out after reading this, wow, I’m shocked but he’s really proven his worth and BMW as needed to make some changes now for a while so I think it’s a big lost for polestar but they are probably just making financial cuts and Missoni seems to know his worth so good for him, I look forward to his work at BMW and what this means for BMW going forward, polestar has truly found it’s identity, I hope they honour those people whom are leaving as they have help to build the brand into what it is today

I am invested in Nio, and believe in this company. They have done an extensive degree of foundational work with massive cash burn. R&D expense has been significant,but that is what they should to be doing as a growth stock! This is certainly a stock for the patient investor, but I feel the rewards will eventually be achieved. @MonumentStudio They still have to perform. High tariffs can slow the foreign expansion. Remember the west sees them as enemies. There is plenty of competition. They are not even close to being profitable yet. Current competition is a race to the bottom with the point of trying to provide the most amount of car for the cheapest price and this is a threat to profit margins. These are only a few obstacles, there are many more. So let's be a little more cautious.

That’s very interesting, since your interesting in the EX60, why not try the Polestar 4, I assume they will be similar in style and size, but then again the EX60 is a XC60 replacement so in terms of size it’s probably more like the Polestar 3

They are underestimating I think they are close on ONVO but I think they are Under. For Nio they are predicting flat or a drop. This year Nio is going to grow about 25% with zero new models but they think Nio will stay flat with 4 new 3.0 models next year lol. Then they are predicting 10,000 for the firefly project are you kidding the only way that happens is if they don’t launch till November or December this is a $15,000 car. My prediction is 240,000 nio next year as a floor. ONVO easy 120,000 could be much more depending on their ability to supply what the market will demand. Firefly if it’s released by June or July it’s easy 60,000. 420,000 total im confident im closer than they are. But hey if the market is excited about 330,000 I can’t wait to see what it does when the actual results happen.

I can't even believe you try to compare Polestar and Tesla in regards to China. Tesla is a company that is an American company who happens to have a Chinese division that sells cars in China. Polestar is literally a wholly owned subsidiary of Geely, a Chinese company. Zero Teslas sold in America are Chinese made. 💯 of Teslas sold in America are made in America. 💯 of Polestars sold in America are MADE IN CHINA!

The user is paying for the connectivity which allows the vehicle to connect to the internet and become a mobile hotspot. You can still use the included apps but will need to provide your own hotspot for the vehicle to access the internet if you choose not to subscribe.
From my understanding the Firefly brand will have its own battery pack and will not be able to use Nio swap stations. If this is true it could be a mistake on the company's part.

If Missoni felt that the circle of his work was complete (from polestar 1 to 6), then it was the right thing to do for himself.
