Damn… all these years later, I never thought this song would hit different. This shit brings me back to high school… you and Chris Ramos were the reason I started playing the uke. Me and my 3 other friends all picked it up at the same time, and we’d be jammin during lunch and after school till it got to a point where people were probably sick of hearing us 😂 they were my fuckin’ brothers during those years man... Hearing this song now makes me sad that we no longer keep in touch. Haven’t heard from them in years, I only know two of them had kids, but no idea how or even where the other one is. I hope life is treating them well, and I really hope things have worked out a lot better for them than they have for me. I fuckin’ miss ‘em more than they’ll ever know.
I had this song stuck in my head recently and I just now remembered where I first heard it. Looked yall up and youre both still making music together. So happy 🤍
"I love this Kaulana Mele (famous song) in Memory of My Late Mother who loved this song. I remember her playing it often til my Parents broke up as a young child. It tells about Love that has its own and beautiful story to tell.......Love and Let Love Be...........Mahalo"
