I successfully created the VRRP, can you reply, here how will be the physical connection, will it be Eth 1/1/x SW1 to Eth 1/1/x SW2, or we need directly Eth cable for direct connection of both the switches. I need this solution on urgent kindly share
We have a DELL EMC S3048 Router and its giving a lot of issues to configure. We followed all these steps you outlined here, but we keep getting eth1 going on the down side. The eth0 returns ip address and works, but the eth1 does not and its always showing its down. Even when we assigned an ip address to it and it accepted, but will not go further to allow image to be copied on it or installed. How could we solve this problem. Can you explain how or do a video on this? I can see the eth1 doesn't come up with you, in this video. Is there something wrong with our console or what?
even after people have complained over a year ago that the video resolution is poor, this is still not fixed. Please do another upload and remove this one. It is useless and no one will subscribe if not changed. 😥
I am having a problem with a Dell S4128T TOR switch that is going to connect to a Cisco Core 4507 and the uplink from Dell has 100Gig QSF and it is using a break out cable. However, the interface status on the Dell is up but the protocol is down when checked in the Cisco side port is down.
@@routerswitchconcepts7835 hey great video, the os10 from dell comes with a login and password normally admin admin but i keep get the output login inccorect even when enter to linuxadmin mode trying to change admin password figured out there's no admin account any solution thak you
Its a great training, could you please help in little bit deeper on port breakout like how to connect physical cable distribution if we have 2 switches.
Breakout enables a 40 Gigabit Ethernet port to be split into four independent and logical 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports. Breakout is supported on an active Twinax (1 to 10 m) cable or a multimode fiber cable (SR4 optic cable with an MTP connector or an MPO connector).
