Although there’s been a ton development and improvement from Bam, he’s not there yet and I don’t know if he’ll ever get there. He’s a solid second option but he’ll most likely never become that number one guy. Am I tripping chat?
We definitely need to cut dru smith frfr n Larson prolly take robinson spot he can play better defense if we could get isiah or alondes would b dope let patty mills or Josh richardson go t0o 🤷🏾
It's means a lot the young players is the future this proves that our young PLAYERS are the BEST in the YOUNG SUMMER LEAGUE MIAMI HEAT CHAMPION 2024 🏆💪❤️🇺🇲
I really dont understand the Heat's obsession with Dru but give that contract to someone else. Nobody is going to poach him off of the Gleague team long term.
Exactly the 3 I would sign on a 2 way. I said on Ant's Christopher video earlier to "Run it back along with Ware, Stevens, Johnson and Christopher and call it a day." I feel those 4 along with the run it back squad should be top 5 by Christmas. It was sad seeing Kolek go to the Knicks, but Isaiah Stevens wow what a consolation prize. Big ups to the FO on scouting that gem I like to call '50 Cents." Small in stature but big in heart. Reminds me of Tim Hardaway back in the day. Keep rocking amigo.
Between Josh Christopher and Cole Swider it’s a no brainer to give Christopher the edge like you said he has a more unique skill set and he’s only 22 years old he’s younger that Jaime
This is the year we finally win a championship don’t believe me what was the main piece we were missing last season was a big man and now we have bam using the pick n roll
I don't know if you've seen Isaiah Stevens play in Colorado St or the first two Summer League games for the Heat but he is a true PG. Better than Williams and Pullin. Definitely better than Larrson handling the ball. You raved about Tyler Kolek over a month ago which got me hooked. I was sad to see him go to the Knicks and not upset we chose Ware over him. But after watching Stevens play, I feel confident Riley and this front office strategically chose Stevens to assuage our PG concerns. Did you see his 7 assists in the game 2 win vs the Kings? Just insane. Anyways, I hope to hear you jump on the Stevens bandwagon like you did for Kolek. ✌️
Man Miami has to play their position. Jovic isn’t a PF in Serbia. Miami moved him to PF because he’s tall. That’s also why Miami has players hurt. They’re playing out of position. And ware doesn’t need to be a stretch big he needs to be a post scorer which Miami doesn’t have.
Tyler ball handling is good. He doesn’t turn the ball over. His issue is teams know he’s not athletic. So any athlete can keep up with him and bully him. He has to put on muscle to combat that
I agree, except that P. Llarson is a veteran. That was the kind of thinking that got Ducan Robinson overplayed. I think Ke'le Ware should start with Bam. Ware doesn't have 2 be great. He's a natural rim protector and lob catcher. He can actually shoot and every now and then, the 3. The starting five will be ridiculous and shock teams. It's a starting five that Jaquez can't make. Rozier, Herro, Jimmy, Bam, Ware. However, Herro would have to play exactly how our host described, off the ball, etc. Now, K. Love, T. Bryant, Highsmith, Isiah Stevens, Llarson, Burks, etc come off the bench. Of course, Burks could start, and Herro runs the backup PG. 💯
I think the idea is to move Bam to the PF slot and play a proper center alongside him with Jimmy Jaime and Tyler (or whoever we trade Tyler for), lets just unload Duncan for a pick or 2 and sign a pg and a sf to back up our first team and we will be set for another first round exit... if i was Pat im resetting this year
Ware is going to be good in about 2 years. He needs to gain weight, but I really like his nose for the ball and his footwork in the paint. Larson was ok. Zyon Pullin I also liked. He needs to work on a floater, but I liked him. I hate to say it but he reminds me (based on the 1 game I saw) of a young Kyle Lowry.
I'm at the point where I doubt anything will change until Jimmy's contract is off the books and the "we need to compete now" mentality is gone. His window is closed😐he had a great run but couldn't quite get over the hump. Time to move on, do a soft rebuild, get desirable pieces that can be flipped if they don't work out and picks and build around a young core. It's Miami, at max it should take 2 years.
