It looks like the body mounts are updated too. When I get the cash I will add the EXB chassis braces and strut towers. I already have them on my wish list on amazon. I added the XRT just for you for a size comparison.
I wanted to get the red one but Amazon here in Canada had this one on sale. Seeing it in person I really dig it. The only thing is the color of the plastic wheels look rather toyish. I am looking forward to getting out tomorrow with it if I can for a good run.
Thanks, I converted it to an Ultimate version right down to the titanium shock shafts. Cost me a pretty penny but the Ultimates only came in blue or green and I wanted a red one.
A person could start the cam on the cell phone. The mount is adjustable for angle and rotation. The iphone I am using on it is an old one of mine with no sim in it. Still works on wifi at home though for transfering files, etc.
Ya I was going to blur it out in the edit but I forgot.... I found it isn't as easy as it looks to drive and hold a gopro on a selfie stick all at the same time.
@Doug_Morgan it's a must, in my opinion. It's a great video. Keep on cranking videos, I was going to edit my video on servo install on xrt, but there was too much noise in the background, so I decided not to. Man, that servo 10x better than stock 😆
Bugger that the end link on the shock broke. I had another charged pack with me I had to take home and discharge. Before I take it out again I am going to put heavier fluid in all the shocks.
@@victorevan7893 Very,... I have to look in mine too. Something felt wrong with the piston in mine when i moved it, like the nut holding the piston that you broke was loose or something.
I thought I had the non belted on at first but I had the belted so the programming on the app was wrong. In reality it was really 51 mph. Still much faster than it was with my cheap batteries. These were the Gens Ace Basher 6800.
What I ended up doing is with a set of 8 pins I did the upper and lower outer and the upper inner on the rear and then just the lower outer on the front. I have only had problems with pins popping out on the rear so I concentrated on the rear.
@Doug_Morgan Yeah, that's my thought on pins like that. But if your poping pins out, I'd rather have them on, mine comes of few times but I don't really mind, I usually cut one to fit if I don't have one, plus faster to take apart.
I was tempted today. There was so much more but I would check my phone and it would be off with a black screen so I finally just gave up. It was 85 in the shade so who knows how hot it was on the phone sitting on a piece of wood in the sun. I had some real nice high and long flips. High and long enough I could slow the flip right down and let it go easy.
@@victorevan7893 Cool, go for it and get a GPS reading with stock tires and then later you can get a reading with sledgehammers. I had busy day. Walked dogs for 3 miles, took the Kraton out, did housework and then took my dual sport out for a ride in the bush for a couple hours. I just got home half an hour ago just in time to feed the dogs. Figured I would have a cold beer before I get a bite.
Doesn't bother them at all. My ESC is running right around 80F with 20/50 gearing and running it hard. Motor temp is hitting 110F at the end of the battery pack. It will be warmer come summer as I am running in temps right around freezing.
Thanks for the reply! I'll have to pick them up. I don't care much about the stock tires, gravix I think they're called. The sledgehammer tires really pop with the xrt.
@@DigiDarkness There are lots of videos of them on the XRT. A lot of guys like them for bashing with the XRT as they give better air control. These are the regular ones I have on not the belted ones like I have on my Xmaxx.
Nice collection. I use to have team associated big block Nitro trucks couple of racing Tuggies. Loved those things. Fascinating performance hobby. Kept my two Traxxas Tmax nitro trucks. My wife prevented me from selling them. Thanks for sharing. Took me down memory lane. Wow
Looks pretty good man. So you like it obviously. These are awesome rigs .. so much better control and the extra weight makes a huge difference on climbs. ;) Love mine!! I got the Proline double stage foams for the stock tires and Sealed them, plugging the holes in the rims. REALLY helps with tire roll. Makes those tires even better. Nice crawling out there and I am all subbed up. :)
I have some Injora wheels on the way. They weigh about 3 times or so what the stock plastic wheels weigh as well as some better foams. I am down for now as on my way back to my truck I had a rock flip up and jam between the right front wheel and the inner fender. Heard a bang and it had snapped the front driveshaft and damaged the ring gear a bit. new parts on the way. The SCX6 is a beast. It is a game changer to crawling, just love mine.
