Hello, enjoying the good collection of videos that you have prepared ! Please keep them coming ! Have a question about this model Seagull Funfly 3D? How is it to fly ? Floaty ?and how is the stall ? Please share some experiences about inverted flight and knife edges with it. I am looking to buy it for me .. next step up from electric 3d foamies from RC Factory and progressing into balsa , nitro 3d Thanks !
I'm about pulling my hair out on this, and can't find anything on reddit about it. I've got two of these. Built both exactly as you described. One spins nice and smoothly, but the other is totally locked up. It'll spin if the cover isn't on, but as soon as I push the cover down, it locks up. Help!
First time I did this I had the same problem. As soon as I put the cover on the gears wouldn't spin. Don't know if this will fix your problem but I just had to open it back up and wiggle the gears a bit. Make sure you tighten the screws evenly, make sure the cover is properly lined up and don't over tighten the screws
@@jimmyd8491 Thank you for the advice! I did manage to get it working eventually, but I'm not sure how. I suspect I accidentally did some combination of what you suggested: wiggling the gears a bit and tightening the screws more evenly. I'll keep that in mind for my next build! <3
I just bought two of these same trucks (4/30/24) for $150! Unused bodies and a ton of extras including a half gal of nitro fuel, glow sticks, spare parts, glow plugs, car stand, another electric rc buggy, etc... What a deal. I already have one running! Just going to upgrade the radios to flysky 2.4s.
That’s a Kaos 60. Please treat every crack, bump, and defect when you discover it. That’s why full scale has a pre-flight checklist. An RC aircraft should be examined and maintained in a similar manner. When in doubt fix or replace. Such a classic great flyer! And I enjoyed watching your other videos and seeing your progress in knowledge and skill of our great hobby. Keep up the good work.
Why? Clubs cost lots of money and often times their meetings are mandatory for members. The hobby is already expensive enough, I don’t need to spend even more money on a pointless club membership. If there was flying fields open to the public I would absolutely fly there.
@@jarretblochlinger4201 Yes, these clubs don’t realize what they’re missing out on by being so private. If they opened to the public they would be so very popular and could easily find other ways to fund the field.
I'm guessing some clubs are more strict then others cause ours is pretty chill. Just got to make 1-2 meetings a year and maybe help with an event here and there but that's about it. Happy flying to you man 🙌no casualties 2024
Does it matter what oil goes in the diff I put in some 20k diff oil and it’s making a whining noise and you can get the upgraded transmission wich comes with a new type of diff wich does take certain diff oil
Well, you don't want to put as much oil as he did. That rear end is going to be so locked up that the truck won't even turn. We race Slashes indoors on carpet and most people open up the diff and wipe out most of the grease.
How big of a difference is the MGT 3.0 to you'res? I have one and want to put in a newer motor since stock is very old in good condition overall though.
Another truck that I absolutely loved and miss. I was young and dumb and didn’t take care of my Savage or Monster GT. It’s weird. I took great care of my LST and LST 2 and still have those which look great and still run fantastically. Why did I take care of these and not the Savage 25 and Monster GT? No flippin idea. Just dumb!
I have the same car lol i have everything original mine came with the single gear 15FE motor i was wondering what motor should i drop in? I want to go faster only upgrade i did was the 2 speed trans i only drove the car like 5 times in the last 15 years i got the car when i was 12 the motor is still brandnew
