@DadRunner I am 6'3 235 and need to carry my 7 year old son and 2 year old son to basketball practice about 3.6 miles away. That is it. It's the only real use case but I have to take them both three times a week. My wife is 5'8 and may need to use it to pickup groceries. What is better to upgrade and own RadRunner 1 or RadRunner Plus. I am in the UK. I want to replace the 250w engine with 1000w to 3000w and upgrade the digital pad. Is that possible with both? I also can get a RadRunner 1 with the seat already on with safety bar verses the the Plus without the back seat and no real way of finding where I can get the seat. Is the Plus easy to upgrade the engine verses the Runner1 which I know is easier? Which would you say is the better option for my use case?
Hi I just got me the same bike and the guy gave me the new screen that brings the rad runner plus and he told me that I can put it to the bike do you have that screen on your bike ? Cuz I want to be sure that I can put it on.
Hi dude I’m from the Uk just purchased radrunner 2 looking for the link for your side bags but can’t find dude great vids but you haven’t updated fir a while
ive located the mastiff website but am unable to find the bike bags you have. would you mind sharing a link? love the set up and am doing somewhat of the same to my own radrunner2 thanks for your time and efforts
Time for another update? How are you now finding the bike after 2 years? Do you still have it or have you upgraded to the Rad Runner Plus ? How have you found the battery? Are you still using the original one or have you had to buy a new one? I think they are a bit like mobile phone batteries in that they can only be charged so many times. All the best from Paisley here in Scotland, probably the only place that gets more rain each year (50 inches) than Seattle (37 inches)🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨
The new version also includes the passenger seat package. Little weight added, but perhaps the 10lb comes from there too. The green of your original looks awesome. New/current one isn't available in green unfortunately.
You have a pretty big following for this one product. Curious what you've been up to in recent times with your ride. Sweet looking. Looking forward to any new videos you may have about your day to day experience with the bike.
Sliding the seat forward was genius. Liked and subscribed just for that! Bike looks awesome. You did a great job. Ditch the ear pods during the recording though.
My disabled brother-in-law bought one. I've been bicycling for 57 years. This bike is well built and has some cool accessories. This is also the biggest waste of money for an e-bike. They won't sell you tires or inner tubes and the ones that come on the bike are cheap. Most bikes sold don't come with "the best" tires and tubes. Rad Power Bikes have tubes and tires in stock but are keeping them for new bike sales. It's now an almost $2,000 paper weight. The 22x3 tires are only used by Rad. No one else makes them or the tubes. They sell an equally bad "armored liner" meant as an adapter so you can use 22x1.75 tubes in the 22x3 tires. Why is there not a class action suit against them?
Same lame 3 inch tires. Rambo rooster has 4 inch and is basically the same bike without the forks. Gearing is OK but if you like trails they get torn up. Rooster is simple one speed..press button..go faster to legal limit. Am I missing something ?
Nice video- Would you mind sharing the info. on the the mirror you purchased and mounted? and in another video I see you mounted a ground level light facing to the ground off the frame? And lastly was it too much trouble to move and remount the front light to make the front rack system work? Appreciated!!!
Great video...debating going with this model vs Rad Runner Plus. I'll be doing some streets, but also mostly flat trails here in Cathedral City, California.
Oh haha love the ending image! Great passenger! And very smart father & son duo. Our RR2 is coming tomorrow, I think the passenger kit has been out of stock for a while, I did order fenders but looking at the work required... urg... I did not see the LCD in the accessories list, maybe out of stock as well, but thanks to your tip, definitely will be on the look out to get that extra speed. I like extra storage but they seem to look/ be heavy, maybe later. Happy riding!
Have watched what seems like hundreds of videos about the RadRunner. Your set up is genius in practicality that no one has represented thus far in my research. I will be implicating your ideas on my very own 1st RadRunner that is now in the process of shipping to my house. Thanks for putting it out there. 👍
DadRunner: "If I can get five subscribers, I guess I'll be happy about that." Me: *checks* "Ah, 1.67K subs." But also, you need an update video! How do you like it now? Would you do it again? What would you do differently?
This is what's scaring me about buying any new ebike.🤨 Very few long term positive reviews . These bikes are pretty expensive to become yard ornaments or paper weights cause if the electric part don't work you won't be pedaling it very far
@@johnmitchell8925, I ended up getting a Blix Packa Genie, which has a rear cassette with seven gears and a more torque-oriented motor setup. I'm nearing 200 miles on it so far.
Need some help. Have a rad runner that's 1 1/2 years old. 6 months into it, we road thru a long hard rain. EVERYthing & everybody was soaked. Got home, put the bikes away in a garage and the next day, no power, no start, nothing. A YEAR LATER..after changing out the wiring harness, battery, fuses AND controller...I still own a brick. NOTHING. No power on. No start. Zero, Zip, Zilch.....Any ideas ? Rad service has been VERY VERY VERY slow to help...
Now this is what I've been wanting to hear.Real life issues from real not paid users ..Just wish more happy first day owners would come out with 6 months to a year review like you . thanks😃
